Hi Everyone - thanks for your design submissions. I would like to clarify more of what I'm looking for to help guide you better.

Please no use of house imagery. No use of script fonts with flourishes. We are looking for something strong and creative. We are searching for something graphic which pops out at the viewer. PLEASE explore square or rectangle. Thank You! Regarding serif vs sans serif fonts: we prefer sans serif fonts. If serif font is used please use bolder and solid looking style. Keep the logo simplistic; nuances and shading don't replicate well in some of the mediums we will be utilizing. Please submit some of your design with color. Really like the green/brown green/black/grey and blue. Blues should be more on the slate or gray blue side. Don't love the royal blue.

Hi parkand - ranking of the designs does help to a certain extent, it helps us see generally in which direction you're moving in. Hope that helps :)

Giving feedback to the designers will help you get the best refined design. But, please give feedback directly to the designers, to do that you can click on the logo and it will take you to a page that for comments between you and that specific designer. General comments and feedback (not designer specific) can be left on this board for all to view.

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage more participation.
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monetary means of showing appreciation for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

1st place - 50 points
2nd place - 20 points
3rd place - 10 points
4-6th place - 5 points
7-10 place - 3 points
10th on - 1 point

To all designers:

I have narrowed the list down to 18(some are similiar design from same designer), however I have extended the contest an additional 5 days. But, I am considering ending it early during that process.

I very much like the remaining 18 designs, but am still open to other designs. In fact, I would like to see more use of the letters PPG in the logo as well.

Should anyone have any other ideas, please feel free to enter them...

I have eliminated many of the new designs. I will try to rank them soon, but I like all of the remaining ones so far.
