Wow, lots of good stuff here. I really like #61 and #62. The colors are right on, esp #62. Really pretty. Could you make it so it looks like the couple is either holding hands or hugging or something? I'd like to see their hands down.
The idea of the tree was inspired by this Celtic symbol:
... and that is more similar to the level of intimacy my client is looking for. The tree is supposed to symbolize life; the waterfall is redemption. We can use either, both, or neither.
I love the gradient of the tree in #57. I guess I just need to think about how to pull it together without making it too complicated. The client wants to focus on simplicity, but hasn't specified exactly what that means.
Thank you for the feedback, it's very helpful. I uploaded some new ones that are a bit more intimate with the couple closer together. I think it's difficult to include both the tree and waterfall and maintain simplicity unless you're looking for something very abstract, but I'll try to think of new ways to convey these symbols.
