Hello. :)

As a believer, I count it as a privilege to enter your contest; it would be a pleasure to work with you.

If you have any questions about my concepts or are in need of any revisions, do not hesitate to ask.

Have a great night!

God bless,
Jennifer

Thank you so much for honoring us with your work and creativity!
I do like how you've creative a paradox of movement!

But it's a little too "boxy" looking (real word?) It also reminds me of a road sign that would be confusing to read if it was on a road =)

I would love to see some more from you and maybe some with some smoother lines. I would also be curious if you could create something with a question mark on the "P" or maybe a letter "P" icon that has a bit of flair on the bottom on it. Like a tail of something. Similar to the FireFox logo.

Thank you for your submission! We do love other believers =)

Thank you; you are very kind. :)

And thanks for the feedback. I'll be happy to try this new approach and upload later today. :D -Jennifer

I think this is *close* to what you were speaking of....the flair goes "in" at the tail end of the "P" without looking so pointed that it doesn't look like a "P"....if you need it more pointy, please let me know. Or, if you want any other angle on the flair at the bottom, please let me know. :) -Jen

You know after seeing this, I think the question mark might symbolically communicate uncertainty. :/
You're attempt at that concept is so appreciated though!

Hmmm....Maybe the trendy twitter hashtag look?

Just uploaded four revisions for you. :) Two in orange, two in blue. All use the cool hashtag look like you'd see at a Coldplay/Rock concert. :D

And....the coolest part?

There's a "P" in the middle of the hashtag. :D

In one version in each color, there's a "window-like" look to the center of it. This is to create interest, and to draw the eye....and to give people the impression that there is a place to go to; to signify it's a window in your church building. If you really want to get philosophical...it's a window into the soul. :D

Let me know what you think of these. And, looking forward to more of your ideas, if you have any future ones. :D -Jen

Oh, shoot.

Okay, I think you probably don't like these. Am I right? :) If not, that's okay.

What are your thoughts on them, even if it isn't maybe all that great? Please let me know. I'd like to give you the design you want and need, and your feedback will help me create something awesome for you..... :) Even negative feedback helps.

Looking forward to your thoughts... :) -Jen

I love how hard you're trying! But you're right, these almost feel too...I'm struggling for words, but maybe it feels to playful for me.

I know what you're saying; thanks for the feedback!

I'll submit a new concept with a different style, ASAP. :)

Also: are you a big fan of the round circle/badge approach? Truth be told, anytime you have a "playful" feeling it's likely due to roundness and simplicity (think: kids toys, rubber balls, the round features you see on a teddy bear, rings on a ring toss....circles are commonly associated with childhood subconsciously due to these shapes being present in kids' toys, even the animated characters themselves are always rounded, have rounded features, no sharp angles). :)

If you're not stuck on the circle -- which I hope you aren't, because an element of feeling like it's "childlike" will always be present to a degree with the "round" shape -- I have some alternate concepts that don't use a circle. Please let me know how you feel about the circle. :) Otherwise, I'll continue to use that as a background for my new concepts that I'll be uploading.

Talk with you later! :) -Jen

I'm honestly not stuck on anything. What I have ranked is simply what seems to feel like "us" so far.
You have been such a delight for us Jennifer, I hope you can know that.

This will be on the lower thirds of our videos, on every flyer we produce, on our signs when we finally own our own building. So I keep asking myself, "Could I picture this on a sign in our hallway? On our screens?" And so far, the ranked ones are what I'm "feeling."
I'm certainly open though, believe me.

Here's a link to our most recent videos.

As always, fantastic feedback. And it's always nice to hear really, really nice things about how you enjoy working with me, too....highly flattered. :D

The icon I submitted is an abstraction of what a paradox "is"....in the sense that three things, although not touching physically, are touching spiritually; creating a space between them that develops into an intangible circle; it's created by their presence. They are both representing physical and spiritual space here...

It's a little trippy, but it exemplifies how God is among us, a demonstration of how His presence shapes our physical presence. :) This icon reminds me of this verse, Matthew 18:20:

"For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them."

:D

Also, this will look good as a watermark at the bottom of your videos....it "whites out" nicely. It's also incredibly distinctive; as an abstract icon, it is unique.

If I were to use just letters instead....well, letters can't even come close to the symbolism expressed here.... ;) That's my opinion, anyway. Of course, I am biased... :D

Hope you have a great night!
