Welcome! I went with a more emblematic standalone icon, for your review.

Thanks for your submission. I love the 'playfulness' of the font. And really like the colors in the name.

I prefer the size of the name in #229 and prefer the icon in #228.

Would like to see a palm tree with less details. The reason being is that we are going to print the logo on signs, t-shirts, mugs, etc. so too much detail won't print well.

The roof lines initially looked like mountain ranges. Either on 1 or both try to incorporate a window element.

I feel the word rentals could be increased in size a little, to be able to be more clearly read. For example, we will have this logo on street signs.

It would be great to see some other color combinations. Maybe even something with a warmer tone.

Thanks for your revisions!

Could you make the icon in #263 the same size as #228 and #257.

Also, I'd like to see #263 with the blue background vs the red. While I like the red gradient I'm concerned it will be difficult to print.

I have uploaded some new ideas. Also note that gradients are not usually a print issue with modern print shops. Generally everything uses gradients these days.

Let me know if I can help you further!

Thanks again,
Paul

Thanks for the revisions. Could I see #279 in B/W?

The icon can work on any color shirt (for instance) The white inside the frame of the icon remains white. You never have to worry about the background color because the internal background of the icon remains white.

That's great info! I never would have thought that.

OK...wait, I'm confused. If we printed on a red t-shirt. Wouldn't all the white areas be red?

Logo Designer
No. I would save them as a solid white. I set the areas that are transparent as needed. So the white can actually be white.

If you want to temporarily rank me no. 1, I can upload an example. (Only the top rank can upload during judging)You can then rerank as you see fit.

Just changed. Thx.

The font color can be changed to white, but nothing else has to change. The white in the icon stays.

This is one reason why iconic logos are so popular today.

They also work good in social media as avatars and profile icons.

Thanks for showing me that. Very helpful. My husband and I are thinking of all the applications where we will use this. Can see how it will look great on a shirt.

One thing too, is it can work over photography as a watermark. If you use photos in your advertising for instance.

We have asked friends and family to rank the top two logos. The other designer has a slight advantage from the random vote and when asked why not yours and the overwhelming comment is they thought it was a mountain range and not house related. Someone went so far as saying they thought it was snow capped mountains This is why I asked to add a window to try and make it identified as a house.

I've moved you back into the first position and would ask if you can somehow try a few different attempts at tweaking the house element(s) to be more clear so as it won't be confused as being a two peak mountain range.

The palm tree, white and green lines below are all lovely as is. The font is friggin' perfect for the logo element BTW :)

...one more thing. I don't want to see houses like that in #282. Keep it more conceptual and simple lines over the fine detail in #282.

I have uploaded some additional ideas. Of course the houses can be tweaked infinitely.
I will be out for a few hours, but if time your permits I will be available for more changes this afternoon.

Thanks again.

Definitely like houses in #293 better. You lose too much of the palm tree in #295.

Would like to see 1 house on the right of the palm tree with a similar roof line as #295. Maybe not as angled or as long as it starts to encroach on the leaf in the tree. So, I guess something in between the house in #293 and #295.

Thanks!

#315 and #316

Really like #316, has a simple bungalow feel to it.

Would like one more tweak to #316... As of now there is only a sliver of space between the 2 houses, leaving just a small amount of light blue in between. This concerns me for embroidery , printing, etc.

That being said can you adjust the left side of the right house? Maybe make the wall slightly thinner and / or move it slightly to the right.

I think that would complete the logo to my satisfaction.

Do you happen to do business card design/layout?

Logo Designer
#323 | As requested.

Yes, I do Business Card layouts. It is $75 for the design, layout and all needed files for the print shop.
This is for a one sided design. (Add additional $25 if you need a two sided design)

Thanks again. Let me know if you need any further adjustments.
