here is my entry. a strong spartan helmet inside a shield. i went with your olive and tan color suggestion, but i can make this in almost any color you want, so if you want me to try another color combo, just let me know. thanks for your consideration.

here are a few more entries with some color changes and also a few where the company name is built into the shield instead of listed below it. let me know if you have any other ideas for improvement.

and FYI if you click on a design you can comment on it, instead of on the main page - and i get an email notifying me of the comment.

thanks!

Entry #1 is the best so far. we would like to see a version with more of a battle scared sheild. also, a helmet with the triangle point on the forehead portion. we have uploaded both of those for review. we like the sheild, however we would like to see it with our the pattern or maybe a larger pattern and also make it stand apart fro the helmet a little. the spear tips coming out of the SRP could be slightly larger and elongated. I have some fonts in the upoaded attachments that have some wear looking letters. we might like that style, but would have to see it.

Thanks for all the inputs. great job!

Not that fond of the colors in entry #2

Entry #3 might be better if the Paradigm was on top and the SRP was on the bottom,,,

i will work on some changes. do you think you want to have it all encompased (words and all) in a shield or words seperate from the helmet/shield?

here is one with a distressed shield with the bronze color scheme implemented. if you want my opinion from a design perspective, you'll want to keep the text simple if you want this to be able to be used in embroidery, and the texture of the shield probably won't be able to be embroidered, but you can have a more flashy version with the texture for use on the web and in print, and a simpler version for embroidery.

thanks.

We seem to like the words away form the sheilds. On entry#1 we would like to see the spear tips like entry #8. also if the circle of the sheild could be a little larger in entry #1, we would like to see that.

here is that entry with a larger circle and the new helmet. i also uploaded a few different font choices. also added the spears to all these entries as well. let me know if you have anything else you'd like to see. we can work on color combos too if you have a better color scheme in mind.

thanks.

Entry #10 is pretty good. we like it best. Can you please make the length of the spear shafts the same length as entry# 11. We really like the simple two color design of these styles. can we see some versions with different base colors in the earth tone colors that are listed. We would like to see how different colors effect the look of this style. keep the same one color with contrasting back color, but let's just see some different colors.

Thanks for the continued work.

thank you for the continued feedback.
here are a few color options in the 'earthtones' and a few in more bold colors just so you can see. i think if i got a better understanding of the themes or message you want the logo to portray we could choose a color combo that fits you best. do you want to let me know what you're thinking and then i can give you a few options of what colors might work from on outsider's perspective?

or you could choose colors from on online site. this is the one i sometimes use http://kuler.adobe.com/#create/fromacolor

all you need to do is click on 'Complementary' then play around until you find a combination that looks goo to you. it might help, but is just a suggestion.

let me know if there is anything else i can do to get this exactly the way you want it.

thanks.

We like the boldness of entry#21. Thanks for the color options we will look at that.

Can we make the background color different form the logo. Similar to entry#8. Also, if the helmet could be the same color as everything, but maybe a different shade so that it appears to be separate from the shield.

We will look at colors and get back with you. You can let use see entry # 21 in the manner that I mentioned, in a light bronze.

One last thing. Can you make the spear lengths even with the edge of the lettering, instead of sticking out past. Even though they are barely past the edge, we'd like to see them even. Thanks...

sure i will upload some more. i am going to remove the old versions of the helmet (even though they are ranked lower), just to keep the page less cluttered...FYI

entry #29 is great. but we want to see the background color different from the logo. Similar to entry#8. in Entry #8 the bckground color is different from the shield and the lettering Also, if the helmet could be the same color as everything, but maybe a different shade so that it appears to be separate from the shield. Entry # 8 the color of the helmet and sheild all blend together. we would like the shild to be a seperate entity from the helmet, but it the same color (just a different shade).

the spear lengths are great. thanks.

Can you do the same to this with the spear length as entry #33. Also, make the helmet filled in with a greyish color.

Thanks

not sure if i understand the last comment about the spear length so i may need some clarification. here are 2 with a gray fill for the helmet.

were getting very close. We stil like Entry#33, but Entry #22's color

thanks

here it is filled in like 33 and the color of 22. FYI 2 colors near each other can 'trick' the eye and make it appear they are different shades. in this case the fill of the helmet may be affecting (slightly) the way a person's eye perceives the color - same with the background color. on a different background we might perceive the colors differently.

let me know if there is anything else i can do. thanks.

Disregard last comment, we just saw #54. We missed that one sorry.

here is the horizontal layout. we are constrained by the size of what i am allowed to upload, but in a practical application i would probably make this 20 - 30 % bigger. but since it is a vector image, you will be able to make it as large or small as you want without losing any clarity.
