First of all, thank you for everyone's entries!
The logo contest for "pairs" has just begun, but we are already really excited to see a lot of entries!

As mentioned on the Contest Brief, "pairs" is a new online dating service on Facebook to help people find a partner.

We looking for a logo that is simple and minimal, but with ideas and creativity.

Please don't the logo complex by adding a lot of stuff,
please subtract and make it simple with just 1 message to tell the audience.

We have just started to select few that caught our attention,
so everyone will get an idea of what kind of logo we are looking for.

Please don't make the logo complex by making the shape complex, using too much colors, etc.

Dear everyone,

The contest just started, but we are already seeing more than 200 logos (wow!),
and we are very happy to see all kinds of ideas and creativity, so thank you very much!

This is a simple feedback, but we are starting to see "cool" and complex logos,
but please remember that we are looking for simple logos!

We prefer simple than complex.
We prefer cute/soft/calm than cool/hard/loud.

We have just updated the ranking of all of the entries!

We have selected about 8 of logos that caught our attention.
We want to put more logos in the ranking, but if we select too much,
we believe it would become harder for everyone to understand what we want.

Again, please remember that just because your logo is not in the ranking, don't give up!

Dear everyone,

We just received a question regarding coloring for the logo,
and we prefer the coloring to be unisex.

Since "pairs", the online dating Facebook app, is for male and female users,
the coloring of the logo should be unisex, and fit both male and female users.

So, please don"t make it too much pink or too much green.
We want our logo to be loved by male and female users :D!

Dear everyone,

First of all, thank you very much for all the entries that we have received.
The number of entries passed over 500, and we are really excited for the activeness of our logo contest!

After we did a discussion within the project team,
we have decided that we would like to see even simpler and minimal logo.
As you can see in out updated ranking, we have placed logos with simple font on the top.

Currently, we are seeing logo with bold fonts, logo that looks cheap, logo with really bright, etc.,
but it would be very nice if we can see more great ideas on typography!
Ultimately, we will decide the top 5 logo based on the shape (or the font) of the logo.

But please don't misunderstand!
"Simple" doesn't = Create a logo with Helvetica!
We want to see simple font, but with a slight twist or uniqueness!

We have less than 13 hours left, but we are looking forward to receiving the final update from everyone!
