Hi there greenlite, thanks for your entries, wow, i like them, i think youv'e got something there, could you try a few different variations on this theme, can i give you somethings to think about.
I like entries that have a border around them,i'm just more drawn towards that image, so can you try a few with borders please, can they be bold lines and some with soft edges.
Can you make the whole thing more bolder, so it stands out more, the word Paint looks a little bit to subdued, can that be a lot more bolder.
The background stripes, can you give me some variations on colours, not to bright please, #115 is about as bright as i would like to go. Could you make the stripes look like a paint brush has done them, very soft looking where they feather out at the ends.
I like wot youv'e done with the designs, so cheers for your input, i'm looking forward to seeing your revisions
Hi Dave. Thank you for your comment & feedback. Check out my new entries for revised versions. I make the stripes like paint brush with border around. I also got new experiment for your consideration (see #126 #125).
Any changes you want to see, just let me know. Thanks & Merry Christmas
Hi greenlite, great stuff, thanks for the changes, sorry but i'm not feeling #125 and #126 but thanks for your input. I like the changes you've made to the #115 and #116 range, i'm gonna need some time to decide wot road to go down as i like them all, i am drawn more towards the original #115, i like the clean sharp lines, i think i like them more than the brush effect, can you do a few more examples of this design please.
Thanks for your help, and a Merry Christmas to you as well
Hi Dave. Thanks for your comment again. Personally, I myself prefer the original first design. Simplicity was the idea I try to convey into the design. Using the brush effect makes the whole thing seems busy. So lean towards sharp clean lines give the design a simple yet stylish feel. I would explore more #115 and show you more examples.
Thanks for your revisions, yeah i agree, #115 is the direction to explore.
Out of the new revisions i like #141, i prefer the size of the stripes which also makes the word Paint bolder, i'm not to sure about the word ART being the same as the word Paint, i like the placement, but could you put the ART from #115 in its place, slightly bigger than Paint, just to emphasize the word ART.
I like it, i like them both, can you just change something small please, with the word ART, the bottom left leg of the A stops, can you carry this on slightly so it goes onto the yellow bar, also the top right of the T stops, can this carry onto the grey bar please
I really like this design, thanks for your help...Dave
Yeah, I like the final outcome. Thanks for working with me on this logo :-) Personally both looks good to me, but if I have to choose.. I would go for Paint in white, &ARTS in black.
Yeah i think i agree, the paint in white and the ART in black, very good.
Hey nice designs #172 and #173, i like them both but i feel you cant read the ART straight off on #173, maybe shuffle the letters around abit, AR on the top two boxes and the T on the bottom left.
Hi Dave If I shuffle the letters ART like how you advice, then problem is on the &. It even hard to read if place the & on bottom right. So I came out with an idea to leave the bottom right box abit abstract (see #184)
Hi greenlite, Yeah, i made a mistake, i ment to say put the T on the bottom right, so it reads ART clockwise, i like the way you filled in the colours for the abstact shape on the bottom right box of #184, could you put the & in the bottom left box then colour all the boxes in this way.
