Can the Moderator Please send the CH the General letter I have seen posted in other contests about the point sytem. Hopefully the CH can go back and re think their rankings.

Not at all, I have seen a letter that is sometimes posted by the Moderator of the contest, basically explaining to the CH that there is a point sytem that the designers are rated with. Many designers do spend lots of time creating logo's which may or may not be of interest to the CH. But by ranking them even if it's 55th place, they still get a point, something for their troubles. The letter, explains it. THanks.

Well, thats a good point, but not very obvious for us as a contest holder. I'll try keeping that in mind though.

@ All: With only 20 minutes left and 30 new logos we are extending the contest with two days to be able to consider all of them and give feedback. We hope this is not bothering you to much, but we think it is worth the time to be sure about our decision.

Please take a moment to review the "Ranking and General Tips" as compiled by one of our designers (Bugy) https://logotournament.com/forum/general_discussion/914. Also, Please consider ranking the designs rather than eliminating the points we gather are valuable even if we do not win your contest.

@ JR2: Super link - thank you. I agree to the point, that this info is not presented to the CH very good - actually not at all. As stated earlier, we'll try and put an effort into ranking most of the logos.

And I absolutely think you should put pressure on the site owner, that the ranking process is optimized for the two equal important objectives:
- Giving the CH a chance to setup an orderly view with only the most important logos
- Giving the designers a clear view of the CH's preferences

Whats missing is a view where CH can limit the noise to a minimum only showing the top 5 logos (typically showing this page to the CEO) without preventing the logo from earning points to its master ...

On the point of giving feedback, I would suggest, that site owner implements a sort ajax system on the main page (as well a the other functions ie. rank to x position).

you cannot rank top 3 one designer when ending the contest, so there must be 3 different designers ranked top3, after all we do not win silver, we loose Gold :)

Thx for info - we are aware - the list is dynamic and will sometimes look like this because we need to evaluate them side-by-side.
