Discussion

Thank you, this is a new idea and has potential. Please consider changing one hand into an fur trimmed mitten or a mitten to communicate the Arctic and Northern focus. Please consider changing the leaf into a whale or another arctic marine animal and make the circle on top representative of the northern hemesphere. The main ideas to communicat are - Arctic / Northern focus and balance between natural and man-made. Many thanks,

Please consider taking the name of the organization and wrapp it around the circle to make the logo more compact, seal / stamp looking.

I've made the suggested changes. Let me know what you think!

Thank you, this consept is my favorite one. So at this point, we can just work on refining the details. Please consider changing the blue circle inside with the fish to a styleazed-type globe, similar to what entry 17 looks like. I would see a blue globe with white outlines of the meridians.

The mitten on the left - please consider using a more realistic mitten with more prounounced fur - a depiction of what northern indegenous person would wear.

With tose tweaks we can have a winning product
Thank you

I've uploaded a few variations.

I've tried different textures for the mitten. The whole shape of the mitten is a bit thicker in #61, #62 and #63.

I've also played with the line thickness for the globe. I think the lines work better in white like you said, but I've also tried it in blue.

Looking forward to your feedback.

I've uploaded two versions. #70 is slightly tilted, while #69 is tilted a bit more. Let me know if this is what you had in mind.

I've tilted the globe even more. The only difference between #71 and #72 is the little dot at the top.

Great, thank you. I had a chance to get feedback from the board members. Here are the suggestions.

1. The mitten needs to have a fur trim represented so it becomes more obvious that it is in fact a mitten. Please do one with the decorative zig-zag left and one with zig-zags removed.

2. remove the dark blue ribbon up on top around the globe and have the globe fill in the entire space

3. make the ribbon that contains text dark blue with the name of the organization whilte

Lets see if this could be it so we can complete the project

Thanks again, look forward to seeing it. Rada

Great, thank you.
All looks well with the text and the globe on #74

to cut down on iterations, I feel may be it's best I show you what i mean by fur trim - at the cuff of the mitten. How do I attach a scanned imane to this comment box?

thanks

I don't believe you can attach it to the comment box, but you can use a free image hosting site like http://tinypic.com/ and paste the link here.

Is #76 the type of trim that you need?

The only difference between the latest images is the outer border. Let me know if the fur trim works.

Client
Adrian, thanks for your work
This is a comment for #79
1. The darn mitten - please see if you can make the fur outline on the cuff more pronounced. In the end, tt was not apparent to the reviewers that it was a fur-trimmed mitten.

alternatively
2. provide a version where you replace the fur cuff with the zig zag design on the cuff, may be that would do the trick.

3. Please play with the colors - perhaps consider the foilowing

Navy blue ribbon - change to dark teal
world - change to glacier blue that could be color complimentary with the teal
mitten/ hand combo - lighter teal or whatever works

I gave the fur a sharper look so I hope it's more apparent that it is fur, but I've also tried a version replacing the fur with the mosaic like you said. I've also played with a few color combinations. Let me know what the consensus is on these new variations.

Adrian,
thank you

Lets try this-
remove the zig zag decor from the hand of the left glove entirely, go back to something close to enrty 67 but if you can modify the mitten to look less like a crab claw, it would do the trick

another option - remove the zig zag decor entirely, leave the fur cuff

Use the color of the Pac Rim circle/band on Entry 82,
Use it wth the edging around the banner from #80
And the glove/hand colors and world from 85

I hope something clicks here soon and it's done and over.

many thanks agin.

I've uploaded different variations with the zig-zag and the cuff.
There are four variations on the shape of the mitten grouped in pairs:
#86 - #87
#88 - #89
#90 - #91
#92 - #93
Hope there's something that works between the lot of them.

YES!!!!!! THEY LOVE IT
Number 91 is what we want. Please put a dark outline/border around the light fur trim to get it acentuated and we are done. Blessedly we will be done.

Thank you so much Adrian

I've uploaded a few of variations on the outline #94 #95 #96 #97 #98

I think #94 works best.
#97 uses a dark outline, while #98 uses an outline that is the same color as the rest of the glove.
I've used a thin outline, after trying different options, because otherwise it drew too much attention to the cuff and proved distracting.
