Our Ideas & Additional Information
The samples uploaded are an original sketch and another interpretation. I have refined my desire to take out the cartoon look and barbells and now want to make it more stylized and corporate while keeping a rock solid image of strength. P4P stands for Pound 4 Pound - small but mighty-Our founder is vertically challenged :) Company is built on rock solid relationships, forged and refined over time with faith in God as the cornerstone. I would like to keep the # 4 in the middle with a steel, girder with rivets or daimond plate type look and P's on the left and right (bookends) instead of barbells that are more chiseled in stone or granite with a 3-dimensional look. Logo should give a heavy sturdy look that clearly evokes strength, integrity & reliability with a rock solid foundation. I envision it left to right but might be open to P4P being stacked

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank and re-rank a variety of designs to get a variety of new entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monetary means of showing appreciation for the Designers' hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

OK we are closing in on the last few days and I really have not found any that are really capturing the essence of what I'm looking for. This is my first contest so I bear with me as I try best to convey my idea! I have uploaded another photo that has images that have the combo of steel and rock that I envision. You can see there is more rough edges & color and weathered look - even rusty on some of the the steel pieces. I thought I was detailed in my original summary of what I'm looking for, but I apologize if I wasn't clear enough. One idea or image of reference is how a sculptor chisels work out of one big piece of granite or stone and sometimes has an unfinished look - that is what I am hoping for in the P's with the 4 also having that weathered rustic look that is more clear in the pictures I just uploaded. Hopefully this helps and will help fine tune what I'm looking for. Thank you to all the designers that have submitted some great creative ideas - you have given me food for thought on future takes of the logo for sure!!

Thanks to all the desisgners for the many AWESOME creative concepts!! You have really given me so much to think about and expanded my ideas on the many different ways to convey my message through the P4P logo. As the contest comes to a close I look forward to fine tuning the final choices!! Hopefully you can see through my rankings the top choices capture the closest to what I'm looking for but also I'm open to any and all ideas. Please keep the ideas and tweeks to your designs coming!! Thank you ALL for your hard work and inspiration!!
