Would like to go more with stone colors: grey, black, brown, etc.

Would like a pop color. Maybe try burnt orange, navy blue or yellow.

Simple, clean, polished appearance - straightforward and to the point.

Would like an icon, maybe a styled stone look, historic stone, fireplace, chimney. NO HOUSES. Nothing that looks like brick or small pebbles, our rock is really big, like the size of a person.

Another option for an icon would be a sledgehammer (see John Henry Hammer.jpg) and wedge (see the way stone was drilled.jpg) or small rock drill (see New Tamrock drill.jpg).

The quarry is in an open forest setting. This could be incorporated with the stone but it is imperative that the logo be clean.

We like that the patriot logo used the icon as a letter. But would also like to see options with the icon separate to the left or top.

Try some serif fonts and sans serif fonts, nothing too bulky or heavy. We tend to like more formal but not too traditional fonts.

If words need to be emphasized in the logo the most important word is "STONE" then "OZARK" and finally "SOUTHERN"
