Color Preferences

Our company colors are navy (C100, M62, Y0, K52), blue (C55, M24, Y0, K9), and gray (C0, M0, Y0, K30). We would like to see options in our colors but also see some options for yellow and orange designs. We need a logomark only created and therefore pretty simple with regard to colors - no more than two and since we will embroider it please keep that in mind. It would be great if it embroidered nicely as one color.

Our Ideas and Additional Information:

We do NOT need a new logo. We simply need a logomark version (a graphic that represents our company). We have a logotype logo that is very horizontal and made up of letters only. It simply won't work in all applications. Therefore, we need a logomark created that will represent our company, but it is hard deciding on just one symbol since we offer so many services and products. For example, we inspect and rehabilitate both wood poles and steel towers.

We have a rich history that dates back over 80 years and started with a wood preservative patent. We are thinking we play off of our history by using a cross section of wood with growth rings as our symbol. Maybe it could be incorporated into the "O" that is in our logotype logo. Attached is an old version of our logo for inspiration. We do want the look modernized and slightly abstract if possible. We are open to other symbols as well.

Thank you for the quick response, but we are looking for a logomark only. We only need a graphic (no letters). We don't want to change our exiting logo. We just want a mark to use as an alternative to our logo.

Examples would be how Target uses a bull's-eye and Apple uses an image of the fruit. We need a graphic that represents our company like the bull's-eye or fruit graphic.

Keep in mind we work on wood telephone poles so it's more about the wood/wood grain in the pole and not about the actual tree.

It would also be good to see some options with a wood utility pole and a steel tower.

I added an image of some wood grain/growth ring logos for inspiration only as I found them online and don't have a copyright. Good example of abstract wood graphics.

We are getting some good submissions for wood growth rings, but we would like some other ideas. Keep in mind the work we do keeps the lights on. We inspect, treat and rehabilitate utility structures so they are safe and the power doesn't go out.

A drawing of a more accurate steel tower has been added to the contest attachments.
