Sgt. MacTavish - we are looking at your logo as the one that my community and I are liking for its strength, simplicity, and clarity. However, we do need some modifications to make it our winner. Please make these modifications, and we will be choosing your design. Here are the comments that I posted earlier:
My team has been pushing for another consideration of design #51, which with modifications, could be a winner for our company. The needed changes must include: - Color - must be a strong rich blue (like in #69 - but solid, and without 'fading') - Sub-head - must be included (on line 1 of our tag line: Optimizing the Performance and Results; on line 2 of our tag line: Of Leaders and Executive Teams). This would be best below the earth, and needs to be bold and easily readable - view of the earth - needs to show both North America and Europe with greatest prominence - interesting tilt of the earth - if you draw an axis between the North and South Poles, then tilt it about 20 degrees (which produces a much more compelling view when looking at the earth)
Other options to consider: 1) consider the placement of another image of a person at the very top of the earth and reaching out to the 2 people that are there now (we like the representation of a person that is there now - it is clean and elegant, and we are looking at how to create a clean but clear representation of connecting a team together) - we are hoping this could represent teamwork 2) consider the placement of the name Optimize International at a different location on the earth.... we are not sure what that will do, and would like to consider that

Sgt MacTavish - Thank you for the options provided in #116, 117 and 118. Upon review, the altering of the position of the company name and slight altering of the people do not work well for us. What would be preferable is to utilize the positioning of the people in your image #51 - and the people in #51 seem to be a little different than in #116, 117, 118 by virtue of their longer arms, more 'flowing' look to them, better looking placement on the earth, and sense of elegant movement. Of all of your people renditions, this one in #51 our choice for the best looking and most representative of the flow we are looking for.
What would be needed is: 1) the change of color to the richer, darker blue – consider a 'reflex blue' and we are open to your suggestion. It needs to be a rich, corporate, striking blue color 2) the placement of the 2 tag lines - which then need to be bold so they are readable even when as small as the logo as presented in the thumbnail (which is likely the size in most of its uses - stationery, website, etc) 3) making the continents on the globe clearer and more realistic and easier to recognize (as we are global, it can be off-putting to clients if their continent is poorly rendered). We like that the sense of the earth's continents shows better when there are land masses above and below the company name - however of all your images of the earth's continents, this is the least clear in that respect of clearly delineating how the earth looks.
Hi Sgt MacTavish - Thank you for the modifications you have done, and we are very close. Please note that the design components in #51 are what everyone likes - the size of the people, the amount of body showing (there was much more body in #120 - #124, which actually does not look as good to us), the simple elegance of the design.
What we need are: 1) Use of the colors in #120 - the bright, strong blue on the earth and the people. We think that the name OPTIMIZE INTERNATIONAL actually works better as you have it in #51. 2) The tag lines need to be integrated as strong, readable and very clear elements. The boldness of the tag lines in #122 is good - except that both lines need to be the same size type. 3) It would be great if the continents on the earth could be as clear as you have them in #120, #122, and #123.
I think that is all we need - and would love to see this strong, simple, powerful, elegant, and evocative logo finalized. thank you
Some final, and fortunately simple touches to complete this: 1) I think black type would show and resonate better than the greyish type 2) The sub head type should be the same size (the current size of the first line seems fine) - and that means the second line is shorter than the first - which is just fine enhances readability and ability to take it in in the phrases it is split up into
One visual change option: Would it make sense to see the name OPTIMIZE International in a deep, vibrant green, with a very thin black outline around each letter? That might be quite exciting.
Sgt MacTavish - We are going to choose your design in the morning. Would it be possible to have the company name on the globe with the white background like on your design #51? That and having the tag lines in black would be great. If you could also show us the tag line in a dark grey, we are all set to complete this. Thank you.
