What We Do
Optima Planta are developing the technology of high-pressure aeroponics grow modules, enabling cultivation of plants year round, with no pesticides, soil, sun and with 99% less water*. The modules are optimized (in the mathematical sense) and automated from seed to fully developed plants. The grow modules make it possible to grow common plants with much less resources and enabling the cultivation of new exotic plants such as banana or mango in Sweden.

The company is a spin-off from Uppsala University and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences as well as private investors.

The target audience is other businesses: medium- to large scale production of plants.

*compared to traditional farming.

Color Preferences
A maximum of two colors. Standard black or white with yellow/orange/blue/green.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
The company touch many different fields from horticulture, data science and IoT, chemistry, technical design, embedded systems, mathematical modelling and more. Due to its interdisciplinary nature, a neutral logo is preferred. Although a subliminal tech or biology-touch on the logo is not discarded.

Discussion

Having plants and/or leaves in the logo could confuse the target audience into thinking we are growers/producers, which we are not. We are a tech company providing an overall solution for growers.

The "remembrance factor" on the logo should be high. It will not be so if the logo is too complex.

Could you try yellow or orange as second colors (prioritized above blue or green)? Also, could we try to minimize the empty spaces surrounding the logo and either incorporate the name and the logo or having the logo as large as the company name.
