Welcome.

I chose a clean simple bold mark. It uses draftsman's lines, and a reference to the letter "O" in the icon.

This is really cool - we like it and will be bumping it up in the rankings later this evening. Nice work. Can you make the orange a softer, more subtle shade? How does it look in the Maroon shade we mentioned?

After some further consideration, we are bumping a couple of your entries up to near the top of the ranking for contention. We are liking what you did with entries 88 and 87...we feel those have the most potential for making good strides.

#145 | This idea has multiple components at work.

- The "O' is a bit more stylized in this icon.
- The draftsman's lines are still in play.
- A reference to building the future is implied by a dawn on the horizon.
- The play with the lines tells people that you use old fashioned attention to detail to build modern designs.

We agree with your notion there and these are great - but can you take what you are doing with #145 and work it into the positioning and arrangement style that you used in #144 and #87?

For the record, one of us (the one who is doing all of the writing / posting...hahaha...so that would be me), really, really likes your work. Coincidentally, that's the one of us with an architectural background.

The remaining members of the "committee" here are all engineers, and also appreciate your work but like some of the other entries better. We are going to have about 30 minutes of debate here in the home stretch and not sure how this is going to shake out...but even if you wind up 6th, rather than 5th, know that we have really enjoyed your work and participation, and are very glad to have gotten some entries from a fellow NC native!
