The subtle nod to Solar panels (whether you intended it or not) on entry 15 is really clever and we like where that is going. What does it look like with orange as the accent color? How about with a bit more 3D / depth quality to it? Actually all of yours are great - but they need to somehow more clearly convey that we are mech/elec/plumb engineers for buildings, if that's even possible abstracted into a logo. Keep pushing the envelope, you are one of our early favorites!!!

Thanks, I got the solar panel idea from your website. Glad I'm going in the right direction. I have done a number of ME and AE logos and the trick is to get the idea without looking clunky or dated. I can add depth and do any color you want.

Great background research into our company - thanks for taking that initiative! We kind of "missed" the subtle beauty of Entry 14 the first time around, sorry about that, but that's why we've actually bumped it up higher in the rankings. Where can you take that one? We still like Entry 15 too. Can you try some other colors on both / each one? We like your notion of making it convey a simple idea without being clunky or dated, definitely agree with you on that as a goal.

Will be working on the changes, and don't worry about mixing up rankings. That's good to do because the first ranked design always gets more or less copied. You'll get more variation if you mix up rankings and styles a little.

Thanks for the tip! Your updated stuff is great. We'll be surprised if you don't make the Top 5 at this point...we can start to see that this may come down to you, Ponetz and InnerRhythm, just based on the consistency we're seeing from you guys. Excellent work on all accounts. We see the most potential in entries 6, 9 and 11...whatever you can do to continue to refine / enhance those, or capture their spirit in something new that really is dynamite. Can you see what the tagline looks like in any/all of these? Thanks!!

Thanks for feedback, you're getting good stuff. Feel free to browse my portfolio of winning designs and let me know if you see something that you like that I can adapt to this contest. I won a contest using a gear shape last week, so not that and you already have one but if something grabs you and you want something similar for your contest just let me know.

Great looking work on those other contests. We don't know why, exactly (maybe you can tell us or surprise us), but the logos that appeal to us as-they-are on your page of Winners are: Richard King, Global innovative marketing, Precipio, Bridge Concepts and Mantua. Can't tell you why, they just jump off the page with a certain "it" factor that appeals!!

That's helpful, it gives me an idea of what you like that also fits my skills, so thanks.

After a night's sleep, for your entries thus far, we would say keep rolling with 47 and 14 for the best odds-of-contention (unless you have something completely new up your sleeve after we looked at your portfolio). Thanks! Entry 10 was also promising early on, but it doesn't look like one you decided to revisit. We really liked the idea of leaving the "front end" alone, and seeing what it looks like if you mess with the "back end" (i.e., the letter A and right-justifying "Engineering"). Just food for thought...
