#50, #51, #52 show great use of the logo conceptually. The ground is opening and the frog is coming out. The concern is that we know that those are frog feet coming out, but someone not familiar with Open Ground Studio might not understand those are frog feet, and might interpret them as belonging to another creature. Can you add more clues to the audience that it is a frog emerging from the ground opening?

#59 - So glad you joined our competition! The frog coming out of the ground is great! Can you add a little more expression on his face... like in the eyes or perhaps a small smile? Love the book... very smart! But we are finding its not intuitive right away to some people. Can you try with a circle like you did in your other designs?
FROM THE OWNER #72~ Great addition with the paint brush and I also like #78. This little frog is getting some attention! Would love to see a different font and maybe a different green/ brown combo? Thanks! Great work!
FROM JUDGE "S" #72 - really like this one now that it is coming out of a circle and is holding a paint brush. will convert well into a 1 color format, too
FROM OWNER #106 Thanks for the revisions!!The frog color is much better as is the font. I wonder if it would be possible to have a little more complexity in the frog (gradient to indicate 3-dimensionality in the face, body or toes?) And perhaps some coppery color or some accent color that isn't there yet.
FROM OWNER #107- Thats a great GREEN!! And your #115 gradient is working really well to show the frog in 3D. I wonder if the sphere should have any depth to it as well? Not sure about the spots... can you try with highlights to make frog look more 3D, as well? We really LOVE this graphic! Thanks!
#124 is it possible to add a little bit of the frogs mouth, maybe like a smile that can be seen on the left side of the frogs face... On the portion that is coming out of the ground?
FROM THE OWNER #124- The colors are great in the frog and the elipse. Now that the frog 3D- could you let us see him holding the paintbrush again, or maybe a different tool. I looked back at the paintbrush and I do like the idea. Thanks so much for adding the smile. Can you try with thinner black line... subtle smile? Thank you!
#117... really like the text on this one. Can you use this with your latest graphic (frog with paintbrush) and make the text, san serif, non-italics, and both lines left and right justified with "Visual Arts - Printmaking - Book Arts"... so all of the text appears to be in a block. Also, can you make a more apparent space between the words Open Ground Studios. Can you make one with O G S in green and one without, please. You're killing it right now! LOVE YOUR GRAPHIC!!!
Thanks for you work! Excellent design! I did not see black and white logos attached in your final submittal. If Denese Sander's contacts you, please provide her with those proofs.
Thanks again and best of luck with your future tournaments! Warm wishes, Kristen
