#89 is good and I obviously like the concept (see our current logo). I like the lock, but it seems the capitol is just floating within the logo and not well-integrated into it. We really like the fonts and the spacing used in logos #63 and #58.

The capitol is like the shape-hole for the key. That is the idea. I 'll try to put the font like you want! thanks, for feedback! i really appreciate. Fernando

#92 is pretty close. We are going back and forth between it and #63. Try two minor modifications:

1. Make "OPEN GOVERNMENT" blue and "INSTITUTE OF CALIFORNIA" green. Also, try a green that is not quite so saturated and neon looking.

2. Use an image of the capitol that is a little more crisp and clear.

#118 is good.. currently ranked number 1. However, the magnifying seems a bit too bold, too black, and too heavy. Maybe just a little bit more detail (but not too much) would be helpful. I don't want it to look too much like a bitmap image, but I think it distracts just a little from the rest of your work.

#161 and #162 with the right font!

We still really like #161, but the California state government just launched its transparency website. Check out their logo: http://www.reportingtransparency.ca.gov/. This could be a good thing or a bad thing... we're not sure yet.

I can't believe it! but it's not the same. The concept is transparency and yours concept is that the doors are OPEN.
You like it but i am in 4th. So it's ok.
