This target has a little more depth...it gives the feeling it is not just a target but a sphere or in this case a "point" The colors are somewhat muted compared to my earlier submissions as per your request....also notice the #1 hidden in the first "n" of the word mark. I thought this would aid in drawing peoples attention to the word "one" that is cleverly hidden in your name. This will re-enforce that concept.
Tilly - you creative resourceful person you. Such a variety - we love that you give us choices. We love the 1 in the n - VERY subtle and clever. We still like number 11 alot but found that the target looked like a gunsite and since we work with principals, we had to nix that despite all of us really liking it- perhaps you could use that design to put something else in that O? black and red and green orange and blue seem to be combinations we really like. The timelessness and versatility of our name independent of the logo bug, or the bug independent of our name is very strong in these designs - we really like that too. So.. keep it coming forward as you feel so lead creative clever Tilly! Thank you!
Here is an idea that puts all of the elements together...A 1 in the "n", A target for the 'O' and the word "one" separate. Also the "light" on the word is illuminating from the "point"
Keep the feedback coming...like I said this is a fun one. The feedback has been very helpful.
Also.... watch out for copycats...they will begin to pop-up...LOL..I notice the "target" idea has already been taken by some....*sigh*.... nature of the business I guess...
After the heartbreaking rejection of beloved "bulls eye" themes I have emerged from the ashes with a new direction...lol...just kidding of course...let me know what you think of this concept.
Tilly - thanks so much for hanging in here with us. We'd like to see a navier blue as well as making the dot inside the o with the button in it a titch smaller! You can try other colors as well, if you use an accent color we like to see the charcoal grey or black tones.
This concept has an element of forward movement...the "point" is also "out of the box"...this is a strong icon for a progressive forward thinking company.
Let's try this with a blue of RGB 51, 102, 153 and maybe another two with blue of RGB 0-104-139 or a green of 110-139.61. Thanks so much for your hard work on this!!
Tilly on 461 besides the other changes I listed above, one of the team really wants to see this without the line through it, but leave the o in the point, etc..
Way to go Tilly - keep whatever you got coming if you want too - We are retiring for the evening but will be back in 12 hours to review it all and make our final asks or pick our winner. Best of luck to you! This has been fabulous - how creative you are.. seriously scary how unable some of the rest of us are - and to do all this through email without ever speaking to anyone is just amazing!!! Thank you again!!! Cyn, Joy and Megen!
OK...so here's what I've got....I was looking around my desk. (Because my boring desk is sometimes an amazing source for inspirations....lol) I was thinking what can I do that will say "On Pointe" Thats when I saw it. A literal "ON" Point (minus the "e"). The power button on my computer. I may be a million miles away from what your looking for here, but it makes for a nice concept, and when you have 600 entries, new ideas are hard to come by. FWIW my fave is the black button with the olive green accents, but I'll throw them out there and see if they stick...This is a neat way to tie the icon to the word mark and so on.....
Seriously, thanks for all the feedback...I knew this would be a crazy one. Your name is such a blank canvas....it was bound to turn out this way. Good luck in whatever you decide. Of course remember that the top ranked person can tweak your logo AFTER the contest is over....and remember that the rankings can help all of the artists down the line. The higher your ranked the more contest invites a designer gets...so If you have the time rank as many entries as possible...every on that you rank earns points for the particular artist.
...also one word of warning...be ready for all of the last minute copycats that always pop up at the end of these things. They let others do all of the work and try to sneak in and tweak our designs...it's part of the game around here. *sigh*
Tilly - you are just a doll - we loved your logo and agreed about the green and black! As a matter of fact your logo won the majority of the votes from men AND women in our focus group request over the weekend. SO.. it was VERY inspiring and we truly did agonize over this one - in the end we just couldn't find a 'story' about it as it related to the true what of our work. Nonetheless, you were SO helpful guiding us along about feedback, never giving up, always coming up with new great ideas and tirelessly throwing our color requests and movements back in record time. You truly are a champ. I did see what you meant about the last minute wonders and so I put our final parting comments up about that too. Our very best to you my dear. I am cynthia@onpointe.biz feel free to find us any time!
