What We Do
Online Architecture (we also go by OnlineArc) is a woman owned firm focused on providing custom online solutions ranging from websites to e-commerce to social media applications.

Color Preferences
Blue and green. We are in the process of building our website, so if you go there you will see both those colors, but we are not wedded to those particular shades of blue and green.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
Our office is contemporary, lots of open space and big windows. Even though we're housed in an historic stone building, the interior is custom designed with lots of curves, curved walls, circular desks, etc. So I would love to see either the use of curves by themselves, or an interplay between lines and curves in the logo. You could also play off the words Architecture or Arc. One caution, however. We've learned that if people see our company name without knowing what we do, they assume we are an architectural firm. Once they know what we do, however, the name makes perfect sense (we build things online). So don't make the logo look too architectual or that may be confusing.

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage more participation.
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ At contest close you will need to have 3 different designers ranked in the top three positions.
~~ Ranking is a non-monetary means of showing appreciation for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

1st place - 50 points
2nd place - 20 points
3rd place - 10 points
4-6th place - 5 points
7-10 place - 3 points
10th on - 1 point

What is the website URL please?

http://www.onlinearc.com. But please don't take too much from this design. It is really just a placeholder until we choose a logo and finalize our branding.

#1 Like the use of different fonts, but not the pink or the symbol in the O. While many of our clients are women, I don't want to target them exclusively. We like to work with men too!

As we're looking at the logos, we're noticing some preferences:

• We like when the two words ("Online" and "Architecture") are treated different, either through different colors, fonts, having one word in upper case and one in lower case, etc. .
• We like angular fonts more than fonts with a lot of rounded corners and then incorporate any curves into the graphic.
• It's not necessary, but we would not object to the introduction of a third color if it enhanced the design (similar to what Dean Design)
• If you include an abstract graphic, please tell us if it is meant to convey anything in particular.

Another preference that's evolving...with one or two exceptions, we're leaning towards graphics that are not perfectly round. All the comments from the previous post still apply.

Also, we would be interested in seeing some Web 2.0 versions.

Another preference, we're leaning towards logos that have the words stacked, that is, when the words "Online" and "Architecture" are the same width like #58 and #74. Second choice is when the name is underneath the graphic, like #61.
