I LIKE IT! there is 14 hours left. please send me this exact design in different colors, out the orange letters with a thin black line. please do something with the house and palm, different colors or different design on the house and palm. I will need to use the logo on different color shirts and hats, so keep that in mind. Black fonts show up better on most colors so see what you can do over 12 hours left. Good idea. look forward to more ways to see it laid out!

I meant outline the orange letters... sorry a lot of feedback to provide... a lot of competition, good luck

PS.... in reference to the house and palm in the O maybe shadowed in black? just a thought.

Revision: Palm tree made by me. Re-jigged house. I put it on dark blue. Personally I would recommend having your workers wear orange shirts with solid white emulsion ink printed inks. For your shirts that your executives wear, You might go with a more traditional blue or something.

Orange on black draws attention but is very stark and IMO loses it's luxurious feel - something I think you are trying to get across to your clients.

color - went for a few shades down from pure black - good contrast but not so stark.

Sorry, but your information about all the colors and contrast sounded interesting, but a little hard to understand IMO? etc. I need a cool design and colors that work well on a very hot day... was that why you recommended those colors or for visibility? I need cool, fresh, and visible. Increased prize as well. Do you have any more design ideas?

PS I have ranked your orange logo as # 2 for now, I thought it would look good outlined in black. Do you differ? need more concepts from you, so I can compare. thanks gain 3 days left

New idea based on some of your earlier feedback. I went with a 3 color scheme - on black. I use the silhouettes to give the feeling like 'At the end of the day - you've got what you want - a great property, done by us.'

Client
took a second look at the # 84 and 86 designs, really quality stuff! again, I just need to know from you stand point what color truck, trailer, shirts, business cards, clothing etc this will sow up best on? As I will be using one color scheme for everything,,,,, In the mean time, I ranked your other one up to # 1 because the other designer never updated her last for me, whats your thoughts? on the end the the day design should I keep it shadowed like that? thanks! outstanding idea so far! hope you stay at # ! Good Luck!

PS #86 perhaps should have a touch of green in the palms, whats your idea behind the orange palms, you seem to have better knowledge on colors working we together than myself. thanks

hello,

DO you mind also taking # 84 after slight color adjust and building it into a circle, like seal. could you make that look good. I have only about 2 more says left but i like your concept a lot... on that same seal lighten up the suns rays from dark to whatever you think would be a good color comparison. I like the concept just want to see different options on how to use it.

Thanks

How will entry#85 look on different color shirts? would I have to keep white shirts or could I use green or darker? If I used darker colors would I need different color formats for the design. please respond as soon as you can so I do final ranking. thanks

Hi OneSource,

I'll respond to each of your comments by date:

It would likely show up best on a white shirt but you could likely go with a tangerine colored (not Orange) shirt. Very visible and that color can also be construed as warm and inviting / refreshing.

March 9th, 2011, 1:12am
I'd say a white truck etc would probably be best. I imagine Florida does not have so much problem with dust/dirt discoloring the car.

March 9th, 2011, 1:19am
#86 the coloring is mean to harmonize overall throwing in a lot of colors on black for this application can look odd in my opinion. However, I will make a mockup with a green highlight for you to. Coloring it all green might look off - I'll play with it.

March 9th, 2011, 7:10am
I'll try a circular seal idea. I think it was originally your suggestion.

March 9th, 2011, 7:16am
I will put #85 on different backgrounds so you get a better impression.

As an aside - I really do recommend thinking about using a royal blue or a more refreshing blue but still good contrast instead of black. Think Harley Davidson vs ING Direct.

Wow, a lot of good choices here. I really like the seal look with entry #104. I like the hair line around source in
#103. Can you use hairlines on more of 104? I was thinking it would make it look sharper all over! Your designs are def. in the lead. So I'm wondering if for now you can take just #104, and hairline what you can with it, and let me see what it would look like with brighter but fading sun rays vs. the darker Japanese style sun. in other words instead of fanning out the rays, have them be sharper points. I like the current style just narrowing it down. The Sun was my previous logo in years past. So looking at your entry # 104 it seems like it would be a good transition from what I've used before. Quite an upgrade I think. Ive have some colleagues agree the progress is looking good so. I'm also wondering if we should see what it looks like with out the two smaller palms, less busy perhaps? just a thought.... Once the logo has been chosen, it will go on my truck, trailer, shirts business cards, everything. At the moment my truck is black, so I'm wondering if # 104 will look good on a black truck and trailer, but also good on shirt colors like grass green gray, maybe the orange, to keep me and my employees cool in the hot summer. I'm trying to steer away from to much orange as there is already 2 business with orange as there main business colors. When I buy another truck and trailer this year I may go green, black, gray or even white.... most everything else the logo is on will hopefully be the same color. I'm not sure what some of the color names you use are, but I like the route we're on. I hope to see a comparison to #104 as requested. I don't want to overload you with to much info so I will hold back on entries #94- 99, but I like them too.

thank you very much!

Revision - I noticed the text at the bottom looks cooked in places - I'd need to fix that later. Also, regarding the trees - a cardinal rule of landscaping is that stuff is rarely put in twos. I;d recommend at least a third tree - on the right would be best. Less pronounced - perhaps like #104 but maybe smaller. I personally think the size on #104 is good.

okay, no problem if you think you can put a third tree in there without it looking to busy. not a problem. I like the rays concept as much as the first idea, so Im thinking narrowing down to those to styles. I requested that the rays in #114 are a lessened by a little and extended out still keeping the points to the edge of the emblem, or slightly beyond if you think necessary. I was think how good it may look with the rays bursting into a slightly fading orange sun, just like a real sun set. Also, I really like the one on green# 112. to me the green looks good. what do you think? Cant wait to see a few more changes. This is looker better everything you see it in.

Thanks!!

Revision - I do like the green. I don't know that I would have a green car :) Maybe stationery etc. But green could figure strongly on a white truck. I hope I understood your comments about the amount or rays. Personally I am a fan of the extra rays though a little torn - just my opinion. Tree added - I feel it looks visually more pleasing to have the third tree.

So very close, but the sun rays should, extend to the the far edges of design. think thinner like in #114 but space them apart from each other so there are less of them, and a sun rays fading into the sky kind of like in
# 95's fade in the O I hope I'm making sense. I can see what I want in my head. 1 day left. I have not doubt you can make it happen! You have the talent..... I haven't decided about the 3rd palm yet, I do think the palms look a little to tropical for my area try using Google images and search: palm trees panama city beach FL. there are some palms that are examples of some in this area. I like the pineapple cut of the palm, where the fronds are cut upwards. that is very popular in my area. Best of luck on the finals!!

Intrepid Puppy,

You have stayed with the contest, and and proven your skills there are 12 hours left.

Here's what I I need in the last few moments.

I agree, the rays of the sun will probably not look good extended that far out, but there is still something missing from the design. I cant quit figure it out... My eyes are not quite catching it the way Id like. It needs a little more work on the sun so people know its a sun, like what about a small orange glowing piece of it visible as its setting, keep the rays too, or lose the rays and do the orange glow. I just want customers to see it and and say WOW... Do you know I mean? and hair line every thing you can. The second set of palms are to clip artish for me, can you give the trees either a silhouette or hair them and give them the pizazz of the first set? Please help, and thank you!! I hope you win!!
