If you end up going with this direction I would supply a solid color variation along with it for instances where you might need something simple or a single color. 5 years ago kamoody commented on #403 Withdrawn It is very intriguing. How do you feel about it versus a 2 color gradient, or just a solid background? 5 years ago BIG love commented on #403 Withdrawn I focused the green on the giving hand for this one. 5 years ago kamoody commented on #402 Withdrawn Hmmm ok...let's try more of the aqua, and less even on the green...so we can keep the darker blue text. Can we also see just the 2 color version, with the aqua colored "MORE" and even less green than on this one, in a two color gradient of just the green and aqua? (1 kept as negative space as it is here) 5 years ago BIG love commented on #402 Withdrawn Here it is with the tri-gradient and colors reversed 5 years ago kamoody commented on #397 Withdrawn Could we try a triple gradient with just a little of the aqua on one side, and just a hint of the green on the other side? 5 years ago kamoody commented on #400 Withdrawn This gradient is growing on me...can we reverse sides, and then increase the amount of the aqua, which would then be on the bottom. We'd need to switch the text colors for the ONE and MORE as well I suppose. 5 years ago BIG love commented on #401 Withdrawn with white outline 5 years ago BIG love commented on #400 Withdrawn With gray outline 5 years ago kamoody commented on #397 Withdrawn One board member would like to see this with the white outline around the 1 please. : ) 5 years ago kamoody commented on #388 Withdrawn can we see this with the line around the circle 5 years ago BIG love commented on #397 Withdrawn This one uses a blue that works better with the green 5 years ago BIG love commented on #394 Withdrawn Here it is w/o the line. #395 uses a gray line 5 years ago kamoody commented on #385 Withdrawn Or maybe try to outline the one with a similar weight dark gray, no white showing 5 years ago kamoody commented on #385 Withdrawn Can we see one without the outlined 1? 5 years ago BIG love commented on #385 Withdrawn Here is the revised design. #386 shown without the outer circle. #387 is a darker blue/green 1 and #388 makes use of a gradient. 5 years ago kamoody commented on #361 Withdrawn We'd like to see the following changes in one version: *Design a little bigger in proportion to the text *Go to 318C for the background of the circle *2290C for the "1" in the circle *The text in med. dark gray *Thin line also in med. dark gray spaced away, outlining the circle *On the text could the bold ONE be in 318C, and the bold MORE be in 2290C, if those look dark enough Perhaps a 2nd version without the above referenced line 5 years ago kamoody commented on #361 Withdrawn Agreed. 5 years ago BIG love commented on #361 Withdrawn 100% ! It was one of those things where all of a sudden it hits you like a ton of bricks and I could think was " why didn't I think of this sooner" 5 years ago kamoody commented on #361 Withdrawn Interesting that you did this - I was considering having you reverse it. : ) I feel it looks better - you? 5 years ago BIG love commented on #361 Withdrawn I changed the flow of this design so the icon would read correctly from left to right, showing the hand coming from the top left giving (one less) and the hand on the bottom right receiving (one more) 5 years ago BIG love commented on #360 Withdrawn This design moves the receiving hand further from the edge and closer to center. 5 years ago BIG love commented on #359 Withdrawn Here the bottom hand is slightly larger. I used a new blue in this design #359 It's not far off of the prior blue, but it does address the hint of green tinge the other one had. 5 years ago kamoody commented on #354 Withdrawn On these two variations, can we make the bottom hand just a bit bigger, not quite as big as original, but close, and space out the space below and above the 1 just a little with that. I like your colors here better...I'm not totally feeling the aqua color here...maybe a different shade, but not more green? Not sure. 5 years ago BIG love commented on #353 Withdrawn The hands are between the 2 sizes (momma bear sized if we were in goldilocks :) This design is using the pantones you suggested. #354 is using the colors chosen from the last set. 5 years ago kamoody commented on #349 Withdrawn Also could we see the "royal blue-ish" pantone I posted as the background circle color, with the lime green 1, and the dark blue text as in #350, along with the changes above? 5 years ago kamoody commented on #349 Withdrawn Going to slightly go back and would like to try hand size somewhere between this one and original. Like the 1 from this font, and the colors from 350 5 years ago BIG love commented on #348 Withdrawn Here are a few new designs. I made the hands slightly thinner. Each design has a different style of number 1 and each has a different color palette for comparison. 5 years ago kamoody commented on #334 Withdrawn Also would like the 1 in a few different color choices. 5 years ago kamoody commented on #334 Withdrawn We like the new design better. Can we make the "1" smaller, and bring the hands closer together and slightly smaller (toward the center)? Can we see text represented more like design 11 - centered under the logo - with the text on the bottom line (ONE MORE) in bold. We'd like to see the word "FOR" centered, small, and between the two lines of text, with no dividing line. 5 years ago kamoody commented on #334 Withdrawn I wonder if we can play with some different fonts for the 1 5 years ago kamoody commented on #334 Withdrawn Nicely done sir. I think it "softens" the hands actually. 5 years ago BIG love commented on #334 Withdrawn Here is a version working with the hands in negative space. 5 years ago kamoody commented on #331 Withdrawn Do you feel something more like these hands could be worked as negative space like the newer one, but without the heart, maybe one version with it, but the look closer to this? Looking at this as someone who understands design, I know it may be tough to transition the defined lines somehow to make it work as negative space. Some feedback on the other one is that the turquoise background with the hands in white, is nice. 5 years ago BIG love commented on #331 Withdrawn Is this more in line with what you were thinking? The lines are now more of a sketched/stylized line 5 years ago kamoody commented on #323 Withdrawn I appreciate the work on the new concepts. I think the original hand concept is still more to our liking. Can we just slightly smooth/stylize the lines in the design? 5 years ago BIG love commented on #322 Withdrawn Here is a fresher, softer approach to the hand concept. The shapes are much more fluid and organic creating a much more inviting feeling. I redesigned the text to fit within a square the same size as the circle. This allows the text to go either along-side #325 or below #324 the design. It can even be used solo if you choose. #323 Thanks, Glendon 5 years ago BIG love commented on #245 Withdrawn I will concentrate my efforts on redesigning the hands today. I'd love a chat on the phone, unfourtunatly the rules of the site prohibit it until after the close of the contest. If you do select my design in the end, I can and will provide you all of my contact info. 5 years ago kamoody commented on #294 Withdrawn Are you open to a quick phone call for feedback? I see that you're in the US. 5 years ago kamoody commented on #294 Withdrawn I think we'd like to let you loose on colors, and see some variations with different color palettes. I may send a group of Pantone colors to try also. 5 years ago kamoody commented on #295 Withdrawn Can we see this one with a thinner, modern font...maybe only bold the less and more? 5 years ago kamoody commented on #295 Withdrawn Glendon - We're looking to try to refine and make it perhaps a little "soft" or feminine - although not overtly. I think we'd like to see concepts or refinements of this that head in that direction. Also - feedback gathered points toward others really liking the hand concept by you. I feel like the hands still feel a bit "heavy" and blocky, but I don't think we want them to look like the hands in so many charity logos. Would you be willing to work on that one as well? Could we add a text layout below - fairly thin, modern font? 5 years ago BIG love commented on #295 Withdrawn Good morning! I uploaded 2 possible text layouts for review. one vertical, and one horizontal#294 layout 5 years ago BIG love commented on #267 Withdrawn I prefer that one as well as it symbolically represents your mission! 5 years ago kamoody commented on #267 Withdrawn Haven't talked to others, but I like the square, and the vertical arrangement myself. 5 years ago BIG love commented on #267 Withdrawn Thank you! Coincidentally, you can turn it on its side and it reads right as 1<+ #276 Here is an option with the square removed #277 5 years ago kamoody commented on #267 Withdrawn Intriguing idea - it is well liked so far. We're having such a tough time picking. 5 years ago BIG love commented on #267 Withdrawn here is another thought I had. creating an equation out of the + and - while positioning the + under a house/roofline. 5 years ago kamoody commented on #245 Withdrawn Going to move this one over - if we work this as a final choice we'd want the text, but like being able to see it better right now. : ) 5 years ago kamoody commented on #212 Withdrawn I think this gives us a chance to see some differences and see where this falls in the rankings when we all meet. I think your instinct on the previous one may be right, but hard to know until I saw this. : ) 5 years ago BIG love commented on #212 Withdrawn Was this what you had in mind in regards to the "1"? I am leaving for the night, but I can handle any revision requests tomorrow during the revision phase of your contest. You'll have the opportunity to work with your top 5 designers to zero in on the logo. Thanks Glendon 5 years ago kamoody commented on #206 Withdrawn Could we see the design large in proportion to the lettering below. Not sure you are hearing us on the font for the 1 - looking to eliminate the "spur" or minimize it greatly at the top of the "1". 5 years ago kamoody commented on #208 Withdrawn I think we're like to see a more modern looking font for the 1 - perhaps even just a taller longer line for the 1. 5 years ago kamoody commented on #208 Withdrawn Please all black to med. dark gray - and the large circle to the same gray. : ) 5 years ago kamoody commented on #113 Withdrawn Will it be possible to get an update on this one? 5 years ago kamoody commented on #194 Withdrawn Could we see this with the dotted lines in red, and all sections that would have been black in a med. dark gray? 5 years ago kamoody commented on #196 Withdrawn Can we see some variations with a more modern looking one - even just a line of similar thickness? Also could we see a couple with the filled circle a little larger (more)? 5 years ago BIG love commented on #197 Withdrawn This scenario works as a standalone without any words 5 years ago BIG love commented on #195 Withdrawn Here are the revised concepts #194 #195 #196 I reduced the weight of the dashed line and made a custom 1. It also works fantastic in a single color. Thanks, Glendon 5 years ago BIG love commented on #111 Withdrawn Thank you for the feedback. I had deadlines to meet today, but I should have time tomorrow to address some of the revisions. Thanks, Glendon 5 years ago kamoody commented on #111 Withdrawn Hoping to see some revisions on this concept sometime soon if you can. : ) See above for details. 5 years ago kamoody commented on #113 Withdrawn Also - on all variants - could we go to a charcoal or med. dark gray instead of black. 5 years ago kamoody commented on #113 Withdrawn Same feedback for the 1 as on the other design - no base and de-emphasize the spur, maybe not straight across for the spur. can we very slightly reduce the thickness on the hand/circle lines and switch to red for the color. Maybe one variant with the < on the left, and the > on the right. 5 years ago kamoody commented on #111 Withdrawn Nice concept. We'd like to see all variants with the text on one line - with only the words Less and More bolded, and the word for in a smaller size in relationship. Could we see this with perhaps a different font for the one, or a custom 1, perhaps without the bottom base/serifs as well as the "spur" at the top of the 1 de-emphasized? We'd like to switch to red for the color, perhaps a little less bright red, and some variants with some slightly larger sizes for the colored circle. 5 years ago BIG love commented on #112 Withdrawn Thank you. #112 and #113 suggests the transferring of "one" 5 years ago kamoody commented on #109 Withdrawn Love that you went outside the box on this, but we're probably leaning away from a heart concept. Would love to see more ideas if you have the time. It is 2pm here - we're meeting tonight as a board to look over the logos and catch up on ranking. 5 years ago BIG love commented on #108 Withdrawn #108 #109 #110 use a dashed outline heart intersecting/ sharing with a full heart. The icon can be used in a single color also #110 Let me know if there is anything more I can do for you. Thanks, Glendon 5 years ago
