Please try a lighter gray text, and the 318C aqua color for the surrounding color around the hourglass shape. Could we try a shape for the middle of the hourglass more like hourglass 6 (more pointed), and a more bold and larger 1 at the bottom. The word ONE on the left in 2290C, and the word MORE on the right in the color used for the "1" in the hourglass.
Can we eliminate the "notches" at the bottom and top of the shape edges? Also, can we move to a shape around the hourglass that is more like the shapes in the number two and number four examples I sent you. Can we try 2 variations as follows one with the 1's, one with the diamond shaped particles: For each - remove the notches, make the particles a light gray, overlay them with TRANSPARENT words - "less" on top in the hourglass (lowercase, light aqua color, see colors I posted) and the word "MORE" in the bottom of the hourglass (uppercase - see royal blue from colors I posted).
I provided feedback on one of the designs, and I uploaded some examples of things we like. Especially hourglass2, hourglass4, the use of negative space but not the outside shape in hourglass 1. I'll submit another file with some rough sketches.
I posted some files that are more in line with the more modern look and negative space we want. I really need your creativity on this. : ) This is the most important concept we're wanting to explore right now, and we can't turn it over to another designer...we want to honor that you were the only one who submitted anything resembling an hourglass.
I am going to sketch some things as soon as I can and upload or send - so it is clearer. We are looking for a different look, and the visual might help.
It was really difficult to understand your request clearly. English is not my native language, so sorry for that. I tried to make of what i understood. Please let me know if i'm going to the right direction.
As encouragement - we really like the multiple-angle symbology that an hourglass represents. I think there is a high chance an hourglass design could win with the right look.
possible inspirations - including some in negative space that are open top/bottom: https://bit.ly/2StvSAj
As a friendly reminder, some ideas we had: 1. 1's as the "sand" or particles that flow down 2. particles or sand flowing down comprises an abstract or subdued less on top and more on bottom - or some combination of the above ideas.
Thank you for your feedback. I had a busy day today and now is getting late in lithuania, need to take some rest. I'll try to do revisions tomorrow if you don't mind. sorry for any inconvenience.
Are updates forthcoming? Happy to clarify the feedback and work to get you more details on what we'd like, if needed. Need to know if you're still in. : )
Continuing above...we're open to more color - possibly in the "particles" that fall - maybe even a gradient from top to bottom from gray or almost neutral to a feature color or colors.
Hello - I think we really like the idea of an hourglass. We'd like to strongly explore that concept with a number of variations. Could we see a more normal hourglass shape, maybe in a rectangle or square (or both) of gray - possibly even with negative space open at top and bottom. Some ideas we'd like to explore - the idea of the words less on top and more on bottom existing in "particles" or small "ones" in the top and bottom of the hourglass, or maybe just small ones as the particles, with no words. Thoughts? I think though we like the hearts, we'd like to move away from them.
We're tending to want the text below the design, and for it to be less thick and more subtle. Maybe go to gray instead of black with any red in the design. While we're not against hearts, we'd welcome more designs that don't include hearts, with the icon/emblem over the text.
Would welcome other concepts - I think we don't want to focus so much on the one and text. Subtle text layed below an emblem/icon graphic design is more of what we're looking for.
