We are definitely looking for all white background. try the font as all lowercase with some black. Thanks! 15 years ago Josh Logo Designer I drew my chair kinda loose - just to give it some energy, but I've noticed that you're ranking the more precise silhouettes...should I take that approach?(This comment references Entry #64) 15 years ago runner13 Client #64 and #65 are very well done. I like the chair. Perhaps you can move the chair just a bit closer to the words on #65?Can you play with the chair casting a slight shadow. That might work best on #64...? 15 years ago runner13 Client Oh, yeah, one more thing. Try oldredchair.com 15 years ago runner13 Client #65, perhaps try flipping the chair so it faces the words. 15 years ago Josh Logo Designer Here are a couple revisions based on feedback. I really like the shadow addition - that was a great idea! I added ".com" to both, but with different layouts. Thanks for the feedback!(This comment references Entry #67) 15 years ago runner13 Client Try #64 again but with only the shadow, not the .comAwesome job! 15 years ago Josh Logo Designer revised from feedback(This comment references Entry #72) 15 years ago Josh Logo Designer thought I'd try another chair - a typical Stickley. I think of Gustav Stickley as a spokesperson for American furniture...so I thought his work might be a good fit. I have a couple reproductions, but I'd love to have an actual stickley set (I'd REALLY love an Eames Chair w/ ottoman!...that probably would't work for this contest, though :) )(This comment references Entry #73) 15 years ago runner13 Client Craftsmen furniture really runs hot and cold on the market though. If you have an original stickley it could be worth big bucks. I asked a few of the other designers to also look for Chippendale chairs with ball & claw feet or a Queen Anne side chair with spade feet. I think the people we target with the site will know a real antique from something that was made in the 4o's or 50's.I moved your re-do of #64 (now with shadow) #72 to the number one spot. However, like you did for #68, can you reverse the way the chair is pointing.I think if the contest ended today you'd have a winner and I'd like to use the #68 as well for some print ads. But it ain't over til the fat lady sings and you never know! Thanks 15 years ago Josh Logo Designer here's the revised. I just LOVE mission style. We were looking for a craftsman home when we bought our house, but there just aren't that many in this area.(This comment references Entry #74) 15 years ago Josh Logo Designer here are a couple more conceptual/loose pieces(This comment references Entry #115) 15 years ago Josh Logo Designer Here are some logos based on your suggestionthanksjosh(This comment references Entry #157) 15 years ago runner13 Client Josh, #159 IS definitely something I want to see a few ideas worked with. I think a better crest than the one you have might work. See if you can throw a few ideas in that same theme at me. I like it.Thanks 15 years ago Josh Logo Designer here's a more intricate splat(This comment references Entry #166) 15 years ago runner13 Client Check out the Chippendale chair on this page.
