#56: Global in theme. The "O" icon is a wave as well as the dawn over the horizon of a globe. The icon is actually the same shape as the "o" in the font.
Dave - It honestly depends. Usually it costs around the same as here on LT, but sometimes I have logos already in my surplus that are less. I do packages as well for multiple designs.
LT rules prevent me from going into to much detail for additional projects while a current one is ongoing. This is done out of fairness to all involved.
One thing I like about my entry is that it can fit into a square shape better. That works great for icons. (apps, favicons, facebook profile picture, twitter avatar etc.)
Its also versatile in that it can be used inline as part of the wordmark itself, or as a standalone icon that will represent your brand (apple, nike etc.)
#123 | Color updates #124 | Color updates #125 | Icon changes with a more detailed wave. Still fits within the original "o" from the font #126 | Showing its versatility as a favicon etc...
Congrats Paul. We would really appreciate getting just the mark without the outline, then with the outline as in #120, then combined with the word but without the outline as in the winning entry but without the sunrise burst. We decided the clean logo looks better than with the sunrise. So I suppose I should have chosen #121. We would also appreciate if you could swap two letters. We are going to go with ochen, not ohcen. Thanks for your help with this!
Some FYI stuff for you. I can only upload one file through the system here. The changes will have to be sent via personal email. Its no cost, it just cant be done through the system. So I'll upload the final file here. Once you approve it I will just forward the others to you via e-mail. (just drop me your address.)
Dave - I have uploaded the file through the system as required. To end the contest, click "Accept". Once that is done, I will forward the variations as discussed. (I am traveling most of the day, so it will be later tonight.)
Are you referring to the .eps file? What software are you using to open it? If your using Adobe Illustrator, Is their a specific version that you need it saved under?
Its a bit of an unusual request, in that .eps files are cross platform generally. So they open in any OS, and any vector software program...unless you have a legacy version of the software in which case I generally try and save it as THAT version for best compatibility.
OK. I use CS4, but it allows me to save it in legacy formats....What I'll do is save it as CS2, that way it works perfectly for your set up. I am traveling today, but will re-upload this evening late.
