Please let me know if you want to see any changes. Thanks!

So I like where this is going, just not the x in the o...

Logo Designer
I made a couple of changes. Let me know what you think of #28 and #29.

Thanks!

Very cool. I'll have my wife look at these later tonight as well. #29 is pretty cool...

I'm having a hard time seeing the detail, I assume you got the binary right for the o and the f? :)

With a max height of about 12" on this - what would the width of it be?

Logo Designer
I actually just used random 1 and 0s with no specific order. the width is about twice as much as the height, maybe slightly more. we could play around with the size very easily.

My wife said to move your design to 1... :)

The 0s and 1s we can clean up if you are a finalist.

o= 01101111
f= 01100110

For sizing - not sure what the printing place will need. I assume you'll work with us on that to make sure it's all in the right formats, etc? He said something about vector lines for cutting?

I also uploaded a pic of the rear without the name on (I removed it- and am buffing the remnant away)... so hopefully we can see what it will look like on the boat too..

Thanks for the first rank. For sure, you will receive a vector file but I am not sure what they mean by vector lines for cutting. I think they just mean in vector format. There are no specific lines I would add. I dont think we can upload pics of the logo on the boat because LogoTournament only allows the logo on a solid background or slight gradient. I am happy to email it to you, although, I dont know if site rules will allow me to do that either. It is best to check with admin about that.

Thanks!

I'm not sure how that works. I thought I saw other contents with that - though maybe it was on 99design - we were considering using that one too...

Let's wait until the next phase, if you are still in the running - we can talk about getting a view of it on the boat. Again, I don't want to take up your time until something is firm.

We do like your design though, and curious to see what keeps coming in.

in #33, i updated the binary code as well as made the font a bit more techy. I also changed up the colors.

Thanks!

Excellent thank you. You'll also see that the admin of the site said you can upload pictures on the boat

I like the shadow on #33, however, I'm not sure how that would print. Remember, this will be printed on vinyl/wrap and put on the back on a boat. I would suspect that the vinyl is white, and it's printed on... so for that shadow, are those individual objects that are easy to figure out how to cut around?

Logo Designer
I would say the shadow probably wont work in that case but you should check with the printer directly to be sure.

i took the reflection off #36 and i moved the palm tree in #37 as a variation.

Thanks!

I checked with the printing company last night.... said that the shadow would likely not turn out well... thanks for the variations... we will be reranking later today

Hi there. So we showed the design to a few people -- someone thought it said off time .. I can kind of see that. Can you think of any ways to incorporate the L as the palm, as we like that placement, but perhaps a different font for the 'line'?

#37 is neat, how would it look with the L having the full cursive loop? Or maybe get some shading/black outline on the palm leaves, kinda making it like the dot of the i?

In addition to the above, another concern, when we blow this up to 11" tall, I think the 1s and 0s may be too big at that size with how it is currently laid out. If we choose your design, do you provide it in the size we will need, and could we ensure the 1 and 0 size looks ok? I'd want to print a sample and see how it looks on the boat once we choose , but before printing on vinyl.

I will work on your ideas shortly and yes if I am chosen we can work on the size.

Thanks!

Thank you. So far getting very excited!

can you tell me which font you prefer for the word "off"? #29 or #37?

thanks!

We like the font of #29 best for 'off'

Like the font for 'line' of #49

Palm top as #50 with spacing, but same color as 'line'

And remove loop on L

so here's where we are at.... my wife & I love the latest versions.... however, she really thinks that the palm tree might not look like a palm tree when blown up - she fears that it looks like a 't'..

She is leaning towards #51 right now...

Would the palm tree look better if it were green/palm tree colored?

let me know what you think of #53

Can we see #57 with the off in blue, and on the boat picture?

Can you please upload #63 logo on the boat, you will see there is a file in the contest brief called "transom_no_name.JPG" - can you please put the logo on the back on the boat so we can see what it will look like. Thank you.

We are getting really close here... Now, we are just trying to determine if the brown of the text will look OK with the black canvas on the boat.

btw - we like the gradient in the palm tree coloring in #63
10 years ago

Logo Designer
on #67, the colors in the blue are off and i may need to tilt the leaves on the palm tree some. if you give me the exact dimensions, I can do that. Also, i would definitely need to make the binary code much smaller. Let me know what else I need to do.

thanks

Definitely on the zero's and one's - we want them to be really small. maybe 1/4" tall at the time, it should be subtle enough only to be seen close up.

The max height will be 11-12" we are going to the boat today - I can confirm in a little. I noticed the colors off. it still helps to be able to see it on the boat.

Logo Designer
please see #69 for the colors. the binary code can be worked on. noticed i wasnt in first anymore :(
10 years ago

#69 has a different font that our highest ranked logo by you (#63).

Yes, we moved to #2 right now. Our concern is on the coloring.... if we move it to black, we feel that it loses the thought of it being a tree. However, the brown we are concerned that it won't look right with the black canvas all over the boat.

Logo Designer
i can easily work on the colors.

#69, I unbolded a bit but could easily change that.

#71 is something else I had been working on...

Logo Designer
do you want gradients in the logo?

#71 is a bit much I think...

Gradients are fine...

Thank you for your designs. At this time we are going to be going with a different designer.

One question - when we rank all of them we want to make sure you get points - where should we position your design to ensure you get points.

Logo Designer
If I can't win first then 2nd place would be great. I would prefer not to have a bronze at all so you can out another designer there. If you don't think I deserve 2nd you can rank any of my designs in multiple places from 4-10. Thanks and good luck.
