Odyssean TravelLogo Design Contest

It's a great design, really. Loved the ship and some of the developments that have come along with it. You've engaged well and really proven a talented designer, someone we'd recommend to others if given the opportunity. Unfortunately, we can only choose one and ultimately, audience feedback from among our closest or largest spending clients has been that this is very well designed, but just too much detail that it may become lost in digital media - the imagery will certainly go unappreciated, which isn't what we want for our business or for our deserving designer. In the end we feel that if we change our top selection now, we won't be doing the tournament a good service, we won't be helping you or the other designers in the integrity of the contest, and, more importantly for us as customers - we would choose to convey the same loyalty here as we'd like from our travel clients. It is a huge disservice to the work we have already committed to this process, and a poor investment to change the top design choice, no matter how tempting it may be to see new designs. Thank you kindly for your message and for all of the hard work that clearly went into this competition!

Hi, is there any chance for me to improve my concept and win the contest? I have another ideas but unfortunately only the 1st ranked who could only submit new submission.

actually i prefer to see orange sun rather than blue, but just argue, the decision in your hands

Think we like the blue sun more than the yellow, does it feel cold though in your mind?

Actually might like the simpler design here, not sure about mixing the palm with the pine but like the water effect

Still a little drawn to the simplicity here.

Like the waves and the ship, like that it's bright and cheery on the sun-side - something we'd not considered. Is there a way to brighten up the sea a little? Bold is good, but we do like cheery - people need to feel like they're going to have a great time

The detail is looking incredible, thanks for taking our comment on the bevelled edges. Still a little unsure about this style the banner and shaped design, nothing about the balance, just wonder if it looks like it could be a beer label?

Any way to fit a mountain in the background? Like the clouds, it looks sunny and cheery!

Is there a way to make the bow-wave and wake look a little more powerful, like they're crashing out?

Like the two-tone, better in blues than with the orange - you may find another combination that looks better with your designer's eye though. What about rounded, bevelled corners on the hexagon here?
