Anna, I like the hair to the side on #37 and I like the layout, although, I feel a circular motif might be easier to contain for marketing. I like number two because we have both a text logo and possibly an emblem. What if her arms go straight out to the sides without the bend and she sits behind the word and embraces it. In terms of the wave image - maybe check out either some japanese style waves or some surf industry logos which simplify a wave into a nice barreling curl. You can drop "Panama Surf Community" also - hopefully the logo will say that. So If you can imagine this, the curl of a wave could start at the 10 o'clock position and then it would wrap around the body and end at about the 7'oclock position. The apex at the ten where it comes off the circle on a sharp wedge, and then at the base - it would be flat to the 7 o'clock position. It could be white at the tip and blue as you get deeper into it around the clock. Clockwise I am talking of course. You rock! Love them. Please don't take them down yet though.

Hi Keith,

I think the words on top of the figure may be considered a concept. So since another designer used it before me, I don't think it's allowed for me to do the same. Unless I misunderstood what you wanted?

I'm on a conference. I'll be with you soon.

OK so, The wave might be better wrapping more overhead. The ultimate surfing experience is to be "inside the barrel". So the way I see it, it could be behind her head but barreling. I am looking mostly at number 43. What do you think about having her arms wide open in a T and having the word oceano - extend across her body with her arms just over the word? I don't want her in a meditation position specifically like she is now. The suggestion of it with her legs crossed is great but the arms have to be doing something different. People will see that as religious or sect specific. The suggestion is great - but I don't want to be blatant. I wish I could draw a picture and send it to you.

#45 - this is teasing being in the realm of what I was thinking. This is too busy though now that I am seeing it. The sitting person is just way too prominent. Maybe we need to drop her legs out of the photo - This is what I was getting at though. I know that this is your style, which I love, but my partners are telling me to to a little more modern and sophisticated looking. I'm wanting it all white and clean and modern and more corporate looking - I don't know the words for that. Wow, I'm going into overwhelm a little bit here. I love what you are doing. I need to hear back from a few more people.

I might like the idea of #36 with the word under and then an emblem above. I hate to be giving you the run around. This is not a process I have been through.

When you overlap too much stuff, it's hard to make it look "clean" :)

Yeah - I hear you.

#47. Maybe this whole scene just needs to be integrated into one of the O's, like one of the other artists did. #41 is too big on it. And I think maybe you can lose the legs below the hips and top of the thighs on your sitter.

I would you to copy Amy's to a degree and go blue on blue within a circle so that the images of the sitter is not so visible. I want you to use "ocean" in white. I would like you to integrate a wave starting at about 10 oclock and ending in the flat sea at about 7'oclock. I want the arms open and just the top of the thighs visible.

I have to see that. YOu have been amazing. I hate to be exhausting you.

Can you do that? I have to see if before we go into the final. You will get into the final.

I need it for me to get clear on my own direction. Thank you.

Use I like your blues. This embracing character just needs to be much more sublimated - like blue on a blue background.

Thank you.

Anna - I just reviewed your profile again. I love your work but I think you are going to have to break out of your style to get this. Can you do it? I think you can.

Anna - what do you think - can you use some of these feminine elements and step into a more masculine design?

Would you like a drawing of a surfer or something? Or a swoosh?
I'm not clear.

Can you drop what you are currently going with and start fresh for the final. We want something more like what the number one pick - kassai has going right now. I was advised that I was drifting too far into the feminine with your work. For the final - if we keep you on board, are you willing to start fresh or have we burned you out already?

No I am not burnt out. I will try more, no problem.

I'm really sorry to Nix you Anna and especially guilty since I told you you were in. I love your work and I will keep your address. I have several other side businesses and friends starting business's. Would you send your contract info? I think you are an awesome fit for my yoga friends and others. It just wasn't great for this real estate development thing and I led you down a road that my partners ended up not liking so, my bad there. In the end we had to make a cutthroat decision based on past work that we saw in people Profile resumes. Your work is beautiful - just not the best fit for this one. We're involved with alot of Yoga people so I think you are a great fit for them for sure. You are amazing. I'm really sorry to let you down.
Warm Regards.
