#107 #108 are laid out to suite 30x24 vertical lawn sign. I do have experience in this area. the bottom section (green band) is the max width of the sign, it is suppose to go edge to edge. The upper section of the is approx. 1.25 to 1.5 inches front he top this is required to allow for vinyl placement and stretching, same goes for signs that are silkscreened. Your sign shop will explain and make the required adjustments to suit there process.
you can have a rounded corner which is the vinyl part the whole design would be scaled a wee bit to fit the substrate (Corrugated Plastic) leave approx. .75in to 1.0in space from the edge the reason this is done is if the board is not square the closer the outline to the edge of board will be noticeable, but in most cases the boards a re square (proper right angle corners)
I have several clients who I design lawn signs for, on particular uses aluminum sheet with steal frame, for the durability and longer life, plus it's easy to resurface if he wants to change out the sign info.
as you can see the layout visually changes as we have tad too much white space and you name is lost if I reduce the tel number in size we run= into the same problem. I'll switch out the font for the same serif style but one that is more compatible with the overall look and feel
if you plan on using corrugated plastic, you could have the top trimmed to follow the curve as the wire stake are inserted into the channels on either side, this would look very cool and really standout. Unfortunate the wire stakes are the least expensive route over the double sided A frame type or steel frame or post style
I love your designs and believe that we will be going with number 139. This sign will be in people's yards so I was hoping you could send me a couple of different color options.
1. Just changing the green hue to something that would pop more against landscaping.
2. The same green as above but instead of a white background a light yellow.
#145 is an example of a design that was not made in CMYK and I cannot stress this enough those bold bright colours your are referring too are RGB due to the limitation of the cmyk spectrum compared to RGB (TV's monitors smartphones)
plus viewing these cmyk image which have been converted to RGB and sampled down to fit 350x280 pixels further reduces the colour quality approx. 30-40 percent.
Plus the display you are viewing on makes a differences as well. Place 3 different monitors side by side and show the same image on each. The image will appear different, have you ever gone into a big box store and viewed the array of TV's all have colour errors and have not been calibrated.
I can add gradients like some of the other designers. I think, this what you are referring to by the term POP, but I am highly recommending not using gradients.
I will be moving forward with one of your designs I just need to have the right color green and I am trying to decide between the design style of #139 vs #123. I do know I want the swing to be the bench and not the tire.
#70 would go great for my business cards. Something simple and elegant.
I am looking forward to continuing to work with you.
Hi Scott we are having to change our logo and remove the word real estate and add our brokers full name into the logo. Can we hire you to do this? The deadline to have all changes is October 1st. Thanks!!
