I'll make any adjustments you need to this design. And as you can see, this concept is very flexible; color can be adjusted to suit a wide range of visual preferences.
I checked out the link, and I noticed the background behind the Whole Foods logo was a gradient; the color behind most of the type in the logo is what I used. Hope you like it. If you need a different shade of green, please let me know.
On another note, I just want to confirm that you're pleased with this creative direction we're taking. If there is something about it that you wish to see more or less of, or can't quite put a finger on what you want, please describe the qualities you wish the logo was portraying (that you do not see represented) and I will do what I can to represent those qualities for you. Your comment on the general thread leads me to believe you want to see something else represented that we haven't had the chance to discuss. If there is something you have in mind, please let me know.
If you are happy with the overall direction we've taken, please let me know that as well.
We have decided that we want to continue with you on our logo, congratulations!!
We'll be fairly busy until tomorrow (Saturday) and will have more time to focus on the adjustement we would like to make then. Although, we are very satisfied already, so there won't be much!
1. Can we see just the name in white, first on a black background, then on a green background, and finally on an orange background? 2. Like above but the name in green. 3. Like above again but the name in orange 4. The logo in black and white
I've just uploaded the latest revisions. For entries where color could blend into the background (green text into green background, black shadow into black background, etc.), I've made some adjustments. Because all lettering on black as it currently stands has a shadow with it, I've made the normally black shadow behind the while text...into a darker version of the color in the foreground. As for the kinds of situations where a main color (green text) may blend into the the same color's background, I've made a lighter version of the color to contrast appropriately with the background.
I look forward to hearing your feedback and any additional ideas you may have. Have a great night!
Although the type is no longer presented on a slant....the type itself is italicized when the angle is taken away. Do you alsp prefer to see the type as non-italicized, or just the angle taken away, as it looks now? If you do, please let me know.
So I took the liberty of uploading a version that has the type completely vertical. If you would like to see more versions of this approach, please let me know.
