This is my vector illustration of a stylish woman walking to the show. The road leads through the entrance in the "w". The "o" features a bag (as if in the window of a boutique). In the background there is a line of boutique stores (very stylized).
Any revisions or color changes are welcome. For me to know your feedback, please write on my individual entry, as that's the only way I can get email notifications.
This is our first logo tournament... we didn't realize you don't see the public feedback. Is this the correct spot to provide feedback? If so... let us know and we'll send you some feedback today. Or.. is it in the "private message" section?
Too bad these comments don't come to my e-mail inbox... that would be convenient. :o)
We have a staff meeting on Monday. Anything else you can come up before then would be amazing!! I'll present it to the team.
So far.. the feedback on the two logos you submitted has been positive. A few of our staff have concerns it may be a little too busy for a few of the applications we'll use it on. So that might be something you could look at tweaking if you get a chance. The other feedback is that the logo needs to speak to other items at the show besides fashion.... only 10% is clothing and women's accessories. The other is home decor, amazing pewter pieces, fine art, children's decor, jewelry, specialty food items, etc.
Personally, I love the little characters... so cute. If we were to pick your logo... is it possible to "pull apart" various pieces of the logo? For example... if we needed to do a banner and didn't necessarily want to the "girl" on it... could we pull out just the text part? Or... if we were doing a magazine ad... and needed to separate the girl from the text part... can we do that? I'm not a graphic artist obviously... so pardon me if that is a silly question. :o)
Hi there, I will look into various ways of simplifying my design. Regarding taking the image apart, the graphic is all vector; so the girl, the shop images, the accessories - are all removable depending on your needs.
For this entry, I thought it would be a fun concept to have one woman calling another about the NWA, saying "you simply must come!" "A" is a chair/stool. :)
#95 looks good. Hard to tell on our computer screen. Are all colors changeable depending on our needs? (i.e. can we change them at will whenever we need different colors?)
The artwork is all vector, not only can you change colors easily with a click of a mouse, you can also separate all of the elements and use interchangeably.
