Hi there y’all! Sorry for the delay in ranking and commenting on your work… here’s our comments:
We have ranked 1st to 8th place based on Typography mostly. I couldn’t find one aspect of any of the first 8 that made me like it more than the other. Conceptually, they are exactly what we’re looking for but still no differentiable icon to go with it, so I believe there’s some more work to do with them.
#69 was a small readability problem as well as #91, #92, #93, and #94. Yanati, you should try to alter the “v” a little bit to make it look even more different that the “u”. Luviygrafix, don’t you think that maybe, if someone doesn’t know that our name is Nuvert, it will be difficult for them to get the “Nu” from your proposal? #107 is another one of our favorite typographies but there’s also a small problem with the “e”, it could be interpreted as an “a”
#15, we like this idea, but there are too many colors in it and we do not like the ring underneath the word. Try working out a different idea while keeping the same typo with more minimalistic colors.
Soil, we liked your concept from the beginning… but, as you can see from the logos left in the competition, we do not want to limit ourselves in our image to only furniture like cabinets, tables, beds, chairs and so on. We do lots of more stuff than that, so having a Chair or something that resembles a chair on our logo is not what we’re looking for. I believe your idea is based on something like a dresser, isn’t it? It’s pretty cool but also very empty… minimalistic? Yes… But it doesn’t catch our eye. I don’t know what else to say… we love the Typo but not the Icon.
#16 is liked by some, and disliked by other around here. What we really want to change on this one is the shade underneath the word. That’s a big no no…
Thanks guys, I’ll check out your progress the day after tomorrow. Cheers!
