I like where you are going with this. Looking for more subdued, grungy look. Check the background at ftsnutrition.com for where the inspiration is coming from. Thanks!
#8 I won't need the background, but I like the grunge effect. As far as the eagle itself, can you look at the image I uploaded? Not sure if you can take it more in that direction. Great progress! Thanks!
Thanks for the feedback. Yes, the background is just for 'presentation purposes'. Were you thinking you just wanted the eagle more similar to the one you referenced - while keeping the shield, etc?
#9 Definitely moving in the right direction. Can you give me an example with no grunge on the shield and ribbon, take the grunge off of the background, and instead of the eagle red, incorporate the stars and stripes like the example?
#11 Do you have a grunge pattern without the harsh lines in it? I think I like the pattern from the original. Also, can you apply the stars and stripes to the design in entry #8, and subdue the stars and stripes a bit? I can't decide which eagle I prefer! Good work!
#12 & #13 switched the head and stripped it down to a more simple logo. also backed off the texture a bit. let me know if you think you like this better (i think simple might be the way to go due to the grunge).
Ok. Here's where I'm at now. I like the new stars and stripes, how it swoops up. I would like to stick with the eagle from #13. Thanks for flipping it, and I like that grunge pattern. I prefer the color and gradient in the shield from #8, and how it has a 3 dimensional look to it. Can you make 'FTS' and the stars appear metallic, and possibly add some dimension to them? Also, can you add the outline back in on the shield and ribbon, and I may ask for the outline back on the eagle, but I'd like to see it without first. Nice work, and I appreciate you being so prompt.
#21, thanks for continuing the work. A couple more ideas. Can you have the stars on the eagle follow the arc of the line under them, take the grunge texture out of the shield and ribbon, bump the FTS up, and add Nutrition under it? Also, is it possible to bring the outer tips of the wings up, so it is reaching out instead of sagging down?
As I'm looking at #13 and #21 next to each other, I like the darker blue on the eagle in 13. Can you leave the shield color as is, but darken the blue in the eagle?
I uploaded a few more with the wing/shield and color changes. Let me know what you think.
FYI - I will be away from my computer until sometime Saturday night starting in a couple hours. I can make any additional changes for you when i get back.
Hey Kyle, thanks for all of the updates. I like the three stars above FTS in your earlier examples. I'm not sure if it would leave enough room for the rest of the test to put those back in? Also, the wings are a little much now. I 'm looking for more reaching out than ruffled up. If you can just elevate the tips up a little, but leave the tops how they were originally, if that makes sense. Colors look good in #43.
#44 i angled the first 4 feathers up a bit and raised the wing a bit overall - also added the stars back to the shield. I will be back to the computer tomorrow night to make any additional changes. thanks.
#44 would you tone down feathers 2&3 so they lay a little flatter, and bring the tip of feather 4 down? Feathers 3 & 4 kind of look like a ribbon together. Also, can you bring the line that separates the stars and stripes down to either the tip or bottom of feather 3? Would you also darken the shield so it is more in tune with the bird, but still keep some sense of depth. Thanks Kyle. I really appreciate it.
i made all those changes and uploaded a few versions. one version has a few more stars in the wings and the other is like the original. i also tried to make the head more intimidating in one version (added an open mouth with a tongue sticking out - although its like of hard to see at this small viewing size) and the other version is the same as before.
Hey Kyle, I wanted to drop a note. You have been amazing with all the changes I have asked. I wanted to tell you that I am leaning toward #53. It has that aggressive feel I'm looking for. I know time is short, if you want to give it another shot, I would love it. If not, no hard feelings, and thank you very much.
