Blue or Green, White and maybe some orange as an accent

We have three pillars or facets to our investment approach: Fundamental Analysis (knowing about companies, industries, and various qualitative aspects of investing), Quantitative Analysis (managing financial data to evaluate companies and investments to make decisions) and Technical Analysis (understanding behavioral aspects of investing through the use of charting and data trends).
We had thought maybe some type of triangle, pyramid or other construct could be representative of this, but its not mandatory that we include this.

Also, we take a long term view of investing. We are not day traders or high frequency traders. We select high quality investments that will stay the course and perform well for many years. As a part of this and maybe a tie-in, one of the founders is an amateur endurance athlete (marathons and triathlons) and the other founder is a former Army officer who has been a Army Ranger in his younger years and has the discipline, steadfastness and resolve to see things through to their completion.

Thank you for all the great entries so far. I think we like the Blue/Grey color scheme that some of you have used. But once again, any ideas are welcome because we only came to that conclusion from seeing some of the entries.
We also like clean, simple designs for the logos and that is what most people have gone with. We want a logo that can stand alone without the company name attached if needed. Sort of like our own Nike Swoosh.
The concept of the "3" (quantitative, fundamental and technical analysis) has worked great in a lot of the submissions, whether triangles, pyramids or sets of three lines or bars. So something that includes an icon that incorporates this will likely be in the final group.
