What We Do

Northwest Austin Civic Association (NWACA) is an Austin neighborhood civic association that helps to maintain and improve the community by serving as an advocate for the neighborhood on civic issues and concerns, keeping the neighborhood informed about what’s happening in the neighborhood and monitoring key municipal issues including zoning and planning, fire safety, transportation concerns, preventing crime, preventing and containing oak wilt, controlling wildlife, and other matters as they arise.

Our Ideas & Additional Information

Our current logo is a large symbol (showing the streets that border our neighborhood) and a big use of text. It is simply too big, unimaginative and does not fit on printed materials or t-shirts. Here is a link to our current homepage with current logo - www.nwaca.org

As our name suggests, our neighborhood is in the hills and is very green with lots of live oak trees and nature.
