Very cool.

I like these a lot but the text needs to be more readable especially when it's the size of an embroidered logo.

Here it is with a more legible text :)

The text in 114 works on a black background but gets lost on the white. Inversely, the gear works on the white background but gets lost on the black. Maybe a lighter color or a white stroke would help there. Also, I need to be able to separate the text from the graphic in certain applications. It doesn't look like EPS maintains the layers. If you win, I'd like to get the final in AI so I can remove the text where needed. You can also try variations with the text below the gear.

I'll work on it and have something up this afternoon. Thanks for the feedback, it helps a lot :)

The feedback I'm getting from other people in the company is that the softer, blended details are getting lost and wouldn't read well when the design is just line art. Try the gear without the specular highlight and something sharper for the center element.

Okay, this is heading in the right direction but try a purely 2D design. The 3D extrusions particularly on the text aren't going to work on an embroidered application. Try combining 123 and 147. Red text, white reticle.

#159 and #160 have the changes :)

Okay, let's try those with the type below the graphic element and show me versions without any blends just flat colors.

Better but the "metallic" treatment doesn't really work for a line-art application.
