Northern LightsLogo Design Contest

We provide Scandinavian educators to teach creativity/design programs to Chinese tech companies. Initially those tech companies are primarily gaming companies (computer game designers), but eventually could be other creative industries as well.

I do not like to commit to color schemes in advance really. Initially I thought to include a representation of actual Northern Lights (aurora borealis) - along with the company name, but so far a version that does so while also maintaining the desired cool/Northern/Danish design aesthetic has eluded me.

We provide an education concept that teaches how to do structured design/innovation. So, Northern Lights is the company name because our educators are from the Nordic countries and in sense bring a light (or inspiration at least), and because the light phenomenon is beautiful and invokes positive images in most.
There is an etheral/unearthly quality to it, and the focus of our education is to have a structure for inspiring original thinking/design processes - you could say the purpose is to inspire and then catch the etheral.
