Great work all!!!

Some small pieces of feedback.

Submissions 1-3 aren't the right vibe. We are a large school with 13+ locations. Looking to get away from the "typical" images and fonts associated with martial arts and simplify with creative that is partially corporate and partially martial arts.

Submissions 4-6 are closer but again, looks like a martial arts crest (worn on a uniform) which is a very typical representation of a martial arts school. I do, however, really like the symbol of the guy throwing a jump kick...perhaps you can come up with a few more graphics that are along those lines, which could stand alone as our "brand".

Also...yellow in the logo is a MUST. Black and Yellow are the main colours with red as accents.

Hey everyone...REALLY great work.

Can I please request submissions that are a bit simpler and move away from a "circular" theme?

We are looking to re-invent the brand, so I'm looking for ideas and concepts that move away from the traditional "martial arts" look and feel.

Also, please play with black and yellow as the primary colours with red accents...the logos at present are too "red and black" heavy.

i like the new additions with the non-circular theme, but I'm looking even simpler than that.

Something classy and simple...not overly complicated.

Picture it on a letterhead in black and white...it should still maintain it's impact, but discreetly.

Perhaps it may be easier to accentuate the word "NORTHERN" and then use Karate Schools as a subtext.

This may lend itself to a simpler method of creating a wordmark logo.
