I like the look of your logos... and especially like you going with a blue north and a green creek. For entries #41 and #42, could you create a similar look with a three leaf tree and also an evergreen/fir tree? The three leaf would incorporate trinity/triune references. Entry #3 is really cool... and definitely one of our finalist.
We have a group of folks who are going to be looking at the logos on Tuesday to pick a finalist... so I am going to present the different font and color variations for them to choose from (thanks for doing those). I really like #50 and #51, as well as #45 and #54. Thanks for going to three leaves on the other design... this will be great to contrast #41/#42 with when we go to select.
Well done and excellent work. We have had quite a bit of discussion here in the office over the past 24-hours about your design (and the others in the group), and we are leaning towards towards your design (hence the number one ranking), but also possibly one other designer (currently in number two). After talking with the folks here in the office, they wanted to see some samples of work that were adaptations of design #68:
1. That uses decidious trees (alder or maple) for comparison, as well as another design using a different evergreen, namely the cedar.
2. That creates the same kind of imagery as #68 (perhaps several looks incorporating different kinds of trees as noted above), but does not create a "circle" effect (isolates trees, creek, and land?).
3. Doing an additional design following the above two where the sky circle is created by a colored line, but the fill is white (so the circle effect is maintained, but not fully colored in). A design that looks like #68, but uses the effect in #46.
Looking forward to these additional designs for comparison. Thanks!
Thanks for the designs you sent. We have narrowed down our process to your designs. We have a couple of more looks we would like to see here based on designs #68 and #88. For #68, could you give us one that incorporates a darker green (for comparison)... both the current blue with the darker green, and then one with a darker green but lighter blue. For #88, we like the stream here... but when isolated from the text it makes a distinct letter "S". Wanted to see if you could create a similar look where perhaps the second tree is moved to the other side of the stream (using the same stream shape) to break of the letter "S" effect we're getting.
Thanks for the options you sent... these look good. I moved the top two designs being considered (still working out color) to the top two spots of the contest so that you could see what we're deciding between (just rankings 1 and 2 at this point... so your artwork alone). I'll let you know where we land in a couple of days. Thanks!
Congratulations... we selected your design as the winning design. I'm not sure what kinds of files you'll be sending of the final design, but could you include the following: a) a copy of the logo on both a white background and transparent background, b) a copy of the logo icon (trees and stream alone) both on white background and transparent backgrounds, and c) a grayscale version of the logo. Thanks!
