#11 is a little plain. #12 is better, like the sense of connectedness with the circles, but maybe they could be people/heads instead of just circles? #13 is good, but it doesn't seem unique enough. We have several early childhood advocacy groups in NC and ours needs to stand out because we support the system of providers and businesses who operate centers and most of the other ones just focus on the child. (Not that we don't care about the child, duh, but the perspective of providers makes us unique.)
And I like the colorful one...by nature I like all things colorful. However I worry about how it would translate to black and white or two color. We can't always afford color as a non profit!
#38 is "growing" on me! The tree, with multiple layers and sizes, growing, supporting....that's really good. The tagline has been shortened to "The Voice of Licensed Providers" so try that and see if the font can be darker and easier to see. Images with two people (#23 and #24 and #26) are not quite enough, because we support families and other providers (children, parents, teachers) so we need at least three. I wish i had your talent! :)
Okay, working off of #72, we would like to see the tree separating the NC from the LCCA. Keep the tree trunk as you have it, with "legs." We would also like to see a couple more color variations, perhaps a little greener shade of blue, and a yellow that has more orange. This one is the most unique of our top five, and may be moving up in the ranking!
Thank you for your patience! In #109 the colors are perfect. However, we prefer all six letters to be the same color in this design, so let's try this: 1) Make LCCA blue 2) Try putting "the voice of licensed providers" above the organization name and let's see how that looks. 3) Change the "legs" of the tree to be solid, like a trunk. From a distance it looks less like a tree and more like a stick figure, so maybe that will help.
This is still the most unique design we have! Have you done something similar for any other group?
We are getting close! This may sound like a lot, but it's such a unique concept, we want to make it a favorite of even more people on our team. Here are the ways that can happen based on #147.
1) Close the "legs" of the tree so it is solid, like a tree trunk would be. 2) Try a couple different fonts that are more contemporary (sans serif) for the NCLCCA 3) Open up the top branches of the tree so that they do not cross. (at a distance the design looks like an alien with outstretched hands so if the top doesn't close in like a head and the bottom of the trunk is closed in it won't look like legs...) 4) Change the layout of the tagline to be like #82, with the "bars" in front and behind the text. That was nice. 5) change the gray font so that it is either blue or green.
We love #154 and #155. Thank you! We will probably try to work on the very bottom line because it is still VERY hard to read. However, I am going on vacation for the Easter weekend....but you are in the top two final choices. Next week Easter will be over and we will have the rest of our team back in place to give us feedback, but for now, you can relax! :) Have a great weekend.
Happy Monday! Okay. We have discovered that a couple other similar organizations in NC are using the same color scheme. We may decide we don't care, but we would like to see something just in case:
1) Try the Tree in Brown. 2) Try changing everything that is Blue now, to Purple (similar shade as www.oxfam.org logo) 3) We would also like to see one example with the branches of the tree a little more curved.
I just realized you are 11 hours ahead of us, so you will likely see this message (and the one before it) in the morning, which is the end of our day! When you read it, ignore my request 1) above.
We are now favoring #113, so use this one as your starting point: We don't want to see brown. We would like to see purple (as in request 2) above). And we would like to see the font for "NCLCCA" the same as in design #155. And we do not need "curved branches" because we are returning to the original version. Does this make sense?
good, except we want to go back to having "legs" on the bottom. (I know, back and forth, back and forth! I'm sorry!) Just redo those last two with the separated legs.
Okay, your design is going to be the winner, congratulations! I need to decide on the shade of blue. We prefer the style of #113 but can you give me the color values for the blues in #113 and #169 so we can decide which one we like best?
The green is fine, it seems to be the same in both.
