North American Board of Reproductive PsychiatryLogo Design Contest

We are an organization that certifies physicians in the medical specialty of reproductive psychiatry. This branch of medicine deals with mental illness that arises in women at times of reproductive hormonal transition, such as the menstrual cycle, pregnancy and postpartum, and menopause. Our target audience for taking our certification exam is physicians; the logo should also appeal to patients who may choose their doctors based on whether they are certified.

Strong colors, no pastels, no baby blue or pink. Purples and grays perhaps.

The logo could be neutral, as other medical boards. Examples would be American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology; American Board of Obesity Medicine; Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine. It could also schematically represent, somehow, women, science, brains, or hormones -- but schematically, not with direct pictures. We do NOT want something that shows pregnancy, as we span women's lifespans.
