What We Do
Nokasippi on 9 was established in 2022 and is located on the corner of County Road 9 and Sleep Hollow Road (Address is CR 9). It is "up north," 10 min outside of Brainerd, Minnesota. Check out the definition of "Up North": https://www.minnesotamonthly.com/lifestyle/definition-up-north/
Brainerd, MN, gets 28.6 Million visitors annually (nearly 5x the state's total population).
Nokasippi, on 9, is a small privately owned family business that currently offers short-term rentals (2 units- a cozy cabin that sleeps up to 4 and a cottage that sleeps up to 9). We are building a reception hall and necessary spaces for indoor and outdoor upper mid-scale weddings and events. The property has a panoramic view of the Nokasippi River. Our Eco-Friendly and Natural approach to construction, décor, and landscaping sets us apart. The clientele we have attracted so far have appreciated the quiet, fully furnished rentals, cozy atmosphere with traditional amenities, and access to everything that "up north" offers for outdoor and cultural enthusiasts. We have had young couples, families, business travelers, and bachelorette groups.
The look/ décor is modern and rustic with an industrial twist. The landscape will have industrial and rustic décor (industrial lighting, railings, fixtures, vintage canoes, sculptures, doors, etc.) and romantic, whimsical cottage gardens with grasses, flowers, shrubs, etc.
Our current website is www.nokasippion9.com. The images on the "trading post," “Rivers Edge Cottage,” and “River Side Cabin” Pages are all current and accurate. The other images throughout the site are stock photos as placeholders.
Target audience is upper- midscale, with a bride who is looking for an all inclusive private venue with everything in one location, spaciuous yet cozy, sweeping scenery, with potential for personalization with décor.
