This looks great.

Can we try adding (broken) links between the two handcuffs, so that the message is aligned with our firm breaking the cuffs? It should symbolize FREEDOM and HOPE and my concern is that with the cuffs interlocking in the manner that they are now, they looked more "locked" than "unlocked" (if that makes sense).

Typically handcuffs have very few links (three or so) so we don't need a lot.

Also, I'd be interested in seeing it without the elongated top of the second "f" in Cuffs.

Just another thought, perhaps there is some "pixillation" from the broken linkage between the two handcuffs?

Hi and thanks for the feedback I will work on it and submit the revisions. Can you please make more clear your second comment "Just another thought, perhaps there is some "pixillation" from the broken linkage between the two handcuffs?"

Thanks Degkon

Sure. Something that represents that the links that ordinarily keep the two handcuffs together are broken. Perhaps an intact link on each cuff, with a middle link that is in mid-explosion, as represented by some "pixels" of various sizes.

I'm not trying to make this overly complicated, I just want to make clear that:
1) these are handcuffs, not simply two circles, and
2) that my business, NoCuffs, is in the business of breaking those handcuffs apart and helping people regain their freedom.

I hope that clarifies a bit, feel free to let me know if not. I really like what you've done with this, and I want to give you whatever tools you need to do this successfully.

#28#29 Revisions ready. I have removed the shadow at the bottom of the right [red] cuff to make it more "open" as it fades into the negative space. Removed the tail of the "f" and added the breaking links.

Oh! forgot to say that the C of the "Cuffs" is now bit more open to give some extra push on the freedom concept, even though a minor change, I think I should have done it like this from the beginning.

Fell free to suggest/propose etc.
Thanks

Can we focus for a moment on the link between the two cuffs, specifically on the broken link. It looks somewhat "faded"... can we create the image so that it appears to be breaking or exploding (pixels?)...

Could we also try some different colors? Perhaps green and blue instead of red and blue?

#36#35 Played a bit more with the right cuff to make more open/breaking on the bottom part. Made the links as you asked [...hopefully :)]

#42#41 and here bit bolder the exploding pieces of the linkage, and even more open right cuff.

Thanks for all your efforts, I feel like we are very close.

The pixels to represent the exploding links are too small, it is not showing up like an explosion. Can we have fewer but larger pieces? One application of this is on a website, so this needs to be clear even when small in size (thumbnail).

Can we also do something to make the cuffs more handcuff like, such as a larger and more obvious keyhole?

Finally, we need to revisit a small detail on the links. Where the links are meeting near the explosion, there is a small "c" and reverse "c" on either side that looks funny to me... hard to describe in words... do you see what I'm referring to.

You are very strongly in first place on this, so I wouldn't waste your time if I didn't feel we were close. Thank you!!

Hi Darren here is the latest revision #44.
I thought to go with black and white for now till we have nailed the overall shape first, and then we can add any colors you prefer. So I am waiting your thoughts on the latest take, which includes:
1] the left cuff has a shape that breaks in the middle to make it bit more realistic but still stylized.
2] new linkage with far lesser pixels [was a good thought after all]. But still I don't know if you will like the explosion. The c-c's are still there? If you have any idea on how to eliminate them please share it with me.
3] Bigger and more visible keyholes.

You don't waste my time, cause I like the challenges that occur designing this logo.

We are so very close!!

#44 is the best of the bunch, I'm going to move the others off the ranking grid just to clean it up for my own eyes.

I like the links, I like the pixels, I like the explosion.

I'm not sure about the adjustment to the left cuff... is that supposed to be the hinge?

Well done, for sure, it's just the finest of fine tuning at this point.

Putting aside my comments, just looking at it as a professional designer, do YOU see any opportunities?

Hi Darren,
So, here are the revisions with thinner font #109 and a less expanded font style #108.
Tell me what you think.

I really like #108 but we want to be able to differentiate No and Cuffs in Black and White. It will obviously be easier when color is added.

Can we try and use a thinner font on Cuffs?

#111 is our favorite of the lot. Our concern is that in thumbnail size, the words "The Kavinoky Law Firm" are to small to be read. Can we increase the size of the words NoCuffs so that we have more room to enlarge the words "The Kavinoky Law Firm" too?

Perhaps another way to address is to strip out "The Kavinoky Law Firm" and just have NoCuffs and the image?

Please help with these final choices, and thank you again for your help and artistic vision! We are delighted.

Hi Darren here is a take with a variation of the subface font, it is not as expanded as before and can fit a bigger size in the same space, thus making it more visible in smaller scales. #112
What do you think?

I am choosing you as the winner now for #113. I just want to make sure that we can get the PSD layer file so that we can change font, size and any other creative changes we want. We would also like to get the a hand cuff icon in numerous colors if possible. Please let me know.
