I designed my logo concepts with the idea of having the wordmark for NINETEEN be unique to stand alone on its own, without the rest of the logo, and still be recognized as your brand. Hence, the reason for using a 1 for the i and a 9 in the negative space to create a 19. Entries #32 & #33.
Let me know if you like this idea, and maybe we can nail down a perfect look for you. Thanks!
I like the concept - there were others in the band that didn't want a numeral involved, but I think it's different and interesting. And, love the register mark, but there are others that have that registration, however a TM would be great! Will rank and get back to you some more...
We really like the concept of the reflecting red text - I have a question; we'll be using our logo not only in web content but in print media, banners, and possibly shirts as well.
The reflection of the numeral "9" is a little unclear and mildly distracting . . . I love the concept you did, but is there a way you could maybe get a little creative on how the reflection looks - so that it's a little more clear? Is that possible?
I have posted some designs for your review: #68, #69, #70
Let me know if these help tackle that visual hurdle with the "9" that you are having. I will see what else I can come up with for it as well.
I can provide any of these both with and without a ™ symbol, as needed. Also, for shirts, we would go with a look more like #32, as adding reflections to the silkscreen process can get tricky and not look right.
I really like the idea of negative space forming the "9", so I think a white "9" is still the most visually striking. Perhaps this one is the best all around solution, while still maintaining the original look! -->#71
Question - if we chose your logo as the winner, would we be able to have access to treatments of the logo that would be good for shirts (without the reflective elements you said would be tricky), as well as the reflective pieces? Or is it one logo treatment, that's it?
Congratulations! You're it! Would love to interact with you outside of logo tournament too if you like. Where are you located? - drummbo@sbcglobal.net Bruce Campbell
I am prepping all of the final file types as we speak, and you will hear from me very soon via email. Then we can discuss all of your other potential needs.
