#29-32 These are all very interesting and take us in a very different direction. But they are all too complex and would be challenging to keep up a quality to reprinting of the menus. Can you use a simpler crisper font and try an image that is more like a outline of the womans' figure? I am imagining the type of drawing that Lautrec would have done, inspired by Japanese artists styling. Very interesting colors used in #32
I just wanted to clarify a few of your comments. When you talk about the being too complex, are there any parts in particular (ie. the hair) or the whole logo in general? I can definitely use a simpler font... are you drawn to the style that is being used in your top ranked designs, or would you like to see something different? When you say an "outline" of a woman in Lautrec's style, what kind of pose do you envision? Someone reclined, or standing? Would this figure still have features, or are you looking for more of a silhouette?
It occurred to me that the whole logo is too busy when we think about using our new design on shirts or menus. Rather than making you go through hoops we have decided not to include a figure in the logo. Thank you for your initial artwork.
