The dot in the middle is like a head, but maybe there should be one for each curly brace in place of the tick marks? or tick marks coming off of one of their heads (gaining understanding of the course)

I was thinking it was just open and close curly brace with a slash between. But I just saw the outer shape is forming an N.

help me with the meaning of the little tick marks, if any. is it brightness?

On that front of a stronger career, maybe the N first peak should be lower than the final... the typical stock ticker illustration with a general trend up, with a dip in the middle for corrections. Leaning a new tech follows the same path, learn one thing and now you just have two more questions. The cycle repeats, but you get better overall as time goes on.
