Maybe the frojt guy should be purple for more contrast when at smaller size.

The dots above look like stars and constellations, maybe try something else there.

This one more elevates the student graduate to the spotlight, better that the apostle version. I'm not sure if the shield symbology (defense, protection) is meaningful for this company.

This is the best variation so far, but maybe experiment with different head locations, or white lines around where the heads are overlapping the chin side of the heads... if that makes sense.

I'm curious what it looks like with the heads further in... which makes the white lines delineating the heads more important. This current design may win over those in the end, but it's worth comparing.

Cool font. But I'm not sure how a shield represents education, mentoring, learning or team projects. Also N/A (with a slash) means "not applicable"... Not the first impression statement I want to make.
