Hi Craggs, thanks for your designs and your explanation of your thinking behind them. I like the representation of the church you've done - I'm not completely sure it works as part of the cross. I also wonder whether the whole thing being in capitals makes it look a bit harsh - I'd prefer a bit of a softer feel to achieve the 'warm and friendly' feel.
Could you try putting the little church icon above the 'own', and putting 'Newtown' in a more friendly font, with a capital 'N' and the rest of the word lower case?
Thanks again, Ben
Hello, here is my first entry for your consideration.
I have kept the design modern and contemporary.
The logo shows a cross with your church included. I have colored the cross so that it shows the greenery running up to the church, the building in wood and the blue sky above. The addition of the sun shows warmth and makes the design feel inviting. I have also added the large open door to give a welcoming feeling. Our doors are open..come on in!
I have shown a couple of layout variations and one showing the cross also used as the letter t in Newtown.
I hope you may like the design and concept and I will be happy to make any changes you request.
Cheers!
