Never mind - this is great idea for a news site. Depending on quality of research from journalist involved it can gather clients who gladly exchange some currency for time savings. When it comes to that brand of readers, logo - until it isn't too loud or web 2.0 - doesn't matter much. Well, maybe I shouldn't say that...
The next link is our value proposition, so the logo should convey a valuable direction. the navigators on the aircraft is the key role. and the navigator may be a journalists, but it may be an issue advocate.
