Great idea, the mosaic globe gives sense of global scope, multiple perspectives. could you try other or more colors? The 2-color version will be great to have on hand to save printing costs, but for web, more color might be good.

This is out of scope of the logo contest, but could you animate a larger version of the globe where the tiles are hyperlinked and we can place graphic images in each tile so as the globe spions slowly a reader can pick a topoic?

Font good for Linkable News. will likely want separate files for image and image with text.

Thank you for the feedback. I love the idea of animating the globe with graphic links. Unfortunately I don't really do animation. I mainly do identity/print and web design, but flash is not my forte. I'm uploading a version with more color to it. Any further feedback is appreciated.

Rather than a mosaic of tiles, are there other things, like starbursts or one or two sprays of arcs from points on the globe, like arline route maps show routs from one city?

What sacrifices will have to be made to make the globe into a really small icon, suitable for a toolbar?

I can work on that. What size icon? Like a 16x16 favicon?

I think that is the right scale, want an icon that fits i toolbar and would prsent well in a mobile app too.

Thanks for the other versions. i have to think about the microphone, it may convey audio is the focus.

Arc design looks good. could you change dots to symbols, maybe make one dot a ? and connect it to some !
